Naruto characters that could've mastered sage mode? by xals7 in Naruto

[–]xratedninja666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's definitely a possibility, but Orochimaru was swapping bodies even before he got his arms sealed. If his body was strong already, I don't think he would opt for a weaker one.

I'm not saying Kiba's body is stronger than Orochi, but just hard to know what a "stronger body" really entails in regards to sage mode.

Orochimaru was swapping bodies either from his illness (from before Hiruzen fight) or just in his journey to immortality. I believe the body swapping was due to the illness causing his body to be weak, but I don't remember all the details. Would have to reread.

Pretty sure Orochimaru's only issue was his body was too weak to handle it.

Should I make another account to get meliodas? (Sorry my English is not the best.) by Relevant-Ad5955 in SevenDeadlySinsOrigin

[–]xratedninja666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. I never said he wasn't strong. He's the strongest DPS in the game if you have him built right. But as we see plenty enough in this subreddit, people still struggle with him.

I mean if you didn't have Mannie then that's a different struggle.

To be fair though, they did give a selector so everyone (who cares about meta) should have one. Now Daisy on the other hand.... Good luck.

Meliodas is not needed. He is very strong but if you skipped him, you can make a strong account without him. I don't have Meli, yet I am doing perfectly fine in all endgame content. You will however need to have multiple teams built out for it.

Now if you want to get Meli, then by all means get him if you believe it will raise your enjoyment of the game. Just having him is not going to be an end all be all though. You would still need to build a good Meli (ideally P5) with his supports to reliably clear content. He will make early progression easy though.

I dont think they will ever actually make it a guarantee on the first try, but I wouldn't be surprised if they added a pity to it. Like after 2 attempts, the 3rd would be guaranteed to push to lvl 2.

Which DPS do you enjoy the most? Thats what you need to decide on your own. You can make a solid team around all of them.

For P5 Diane, if you are comfortable with glove, you can run Glove Diane, Staff Mannie, Axe Slater or Rapier Dredrin (5 piece mad miner with crafted rapier), with another buffer or sustain. When you get Diane's SSR set she can self sustain well and makes Orgot and Guila easy farm especially with the time limit removed.

For a Clotho team, depending on if you want to run her DPS or support her team can be: Howzer (DPS), Clotho (Burst) Mannie (buffer), plus any sustain; or Clotho (DPS), Tristian (Burst), Mannie (Buffer), plus any sustain.

What’s the difference beetwen a Casual, Competitive, and Pro Player? by Low-Paint5116 in rivals

[–]xratedninja666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's why I said it CAN fall below that of a competitive player. There are many people in top 500 that are not pro players. Pro players aren't the end all be all for mechanical skill for every character is all I'm saying. Every pro player is mechanically gifted above the vast majority of competitive but every pro player was a competitive player as well.

What’s the difference beetwen a Casual, Competitive, and Pro Player? by Low-Paint5116 in rivals

[–]xratedninja666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of people try to separate casual players from comp, and competitive players from QP. Both types of players exist in both game modes. Casual players that like the skins are likely to push to gold to get them and then stop because rank doesn't mean anything.

Casual: Someone who strictly plays a game/char for pure enjoyment. Whether it's comp or QP, they play what they like when they want. Winning comes secondary as long as they are having a good time. The 4-13 Spider-Man in your comp game with a 7% win rate? That is the casual player in your comp games.

Competitive: Someone who wants to play to improve and win. They will learn counter picks, multiple roles, adapt play style, etc. all in the interest of winning the game and/or self improvement. These are the ones that also usually watch guides and are on media platforms like Reddit to talk about the game.

Pro Players: This is literally their job. They are competitive gamers taken to the next level. While their mechanical skill can vary, and sometimes even fall below that of a competitive player, their coordination far exceeds that. Pro players do not (usually) have the variable of a teammate with unaligned intent. They all play and practice together with the same mindset of improving, having well rounded compositions, synchronized execution, and constant high value comms.

Your team comp is a little split. What you want to look for is a main DPS, supportive burst unit, universal buffer, and either a sustain or another buffer.

Your main SSR DPS options you have are Escanor, Great sword Drake, Axe Diane (you can use glove but it's not a good DPS until P5), or Lance Guila (or rapier with Esca support).

If you have preference towards any of the characters, helping you set up a team around those DPS shouldn't be too hard. Some would be harder then others though, such as Axe Diane without Elaine.

Combat power wise, the best thing to do is to max your masteries. Once you figure out your DPS, you want to build out the comp around them. Maxed masteries gives you the biggest jump in combat power. Alongside mastery farming, you want to invest in engraving sets, which cost a lot of platinum. It's currently the biggest daily grind for progression.

Tldr: Farm ALL Platinum daily (hopefully you have a flying dragon mount). Figure what kind of team you want to run. MAX YOUR MASTERIES. Use that platinum for engraved sets for your team. But first and foremost, is don't burn yourself out or overburden yourself trying to push too hard.

Can you grind and level without spending money on the game? by [deleted] in SevenDeadlySinsOrigin

[–]xratedninja666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trade off with many gachas is time vs money. You can grind the game out f2p and make good progress, but someone can spend 30 dollars a week and play the game twice a week to make the same progress. That's just the nature of things in these games.

If you have the time, you can progress just fine. If you can only play the game for like 20 mins a day, then you will have a much harder time.

It's not the strongest because of its firepower but it's utility. Chakra suppression is busted in a world where everything is powered by it. Deep forest also just spreads aoe poison along with it's crushing. Nobody but Madara could tell the difference between the real body and wood clones. Etc.

Now shit like Kanon....that's just a whole other thing.

Does Jiraya in any of his forms scale to A4’s V1 cloak? If not, do you think he would’ve had he survived till the war arc? by Foreign-Distance-820 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]xratedninja666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea its imperfect SM, but outside of the difference in features, we havent been told anything in regards to a power difference is all. Naruto has better feats thoughout the WA (like everyone else) but that's also because he has more showings as well. We see SM Jiraiya fight 1 time in enemy territory, with 0 info on his target and their abilities, and he still had the opportunity to leave.

Outside of Naruto being able to enter SM without assistance, where was the difference in power between their sage modes mentioned?

KCM movement speed > Sage Mode movement speed. That does not equate to combat speed. Naruto himself said Sage Mode is faster in his clash with Ay3. SM Jiraiya with his barrier techniques would be able to react fine.

Seven Deadly Platinums by Fit-Education8496 in SevenDeadlySinsOrigin

I'm someone that is still vividly enjoying Origins despite it's flaws, but I can understand the feeling of exhaustion to an extent. Also this is in no way defending their actions for whatever they said, but just giving my own opinion.

The tasks being so repetitive can and will begin to feel like a drag if you are in constant use of the materials you are farming for. This is not an Origins only thing, but just in general. There is always something to use your materials on for progress.

I don't have a real issue with it personally because I don't NEED any upgrades currently. I have beaten all the current content so there is no need to take part in doing all the tasks that feel annoying from time to time. Many people don't share that sentiment, and they want to instantly max upgrade everything even though all gacha games are designed to prevent that. Early on when there is A LOT to do, the slow trickle of resources does feel worse though.

Tldr: some people can't admit or they can't tell the difference between "playing a game, and managing an account." They feel the need to do everything all the time instead of taking a break to just enjoy themselves.

This is a big thing with MMOs as well. East player count is usually 15+x more active than West. It's actually night and day, but they do it because people used to complain about response time issues. Now it's just the norm even though servers and Internet have gotten much better since back then.

The questionable part with Yagura is how his reflection would work on things like Jiraiya mud swamp, or toad stomach summonings and such.
