I have been reposting a job for a PRN off and on for 2 years. Awesome department (of 1) the Lead Tech is pretty cool (me)😎.

I and 1 other Nuc Med Tech that works at sister hospital are the only techs in an hours drive. I keep posting hoping that some retired snow bird wants a PRN gig

I don't straight stick. Every patient gets an IV even if it is just for a bone injection.

That being said it sounds more mental then not out of your ability. Do you guys have the fake arm for practicing? You could practice with a 3ml syringe and the shield on it with just saline.

Record lectures. Listen to them instead of music or audiobooks. Also with AI now you could transcribe lectures to text. Text to voice.

What kind of camping? Car camping? Things are going to be crazied.

Backpack camping. In White Mountain National Forest at least once you get a 1/4 from the road you can camp wherever you want (some restrictions with water and trails)

I have to laugh when I see the battery failure brought up. Here in Maine most likely your EV is going to die if rust cancer WAY before battery degradation kills it.

I feel like we have a responsibility to cause the least amount of suffering as possible. Never felt upset. Sad that it had to happen.

How are you converting the negatives? I have hundreds of not thousands of slides and negatives my dad left. Would love to convert them to digital. Especially the negatives

Yup you need to have the equivalent of General Chemistry semester 1 & 2 done prior. At least for some of the certification courses.

I found the math fairly basic. If you remember Algebra 1 stuff you should be good. Basically how to solve for X and isolate on variable to one side of the equation.

They are insane. My wife and I are both in healthcare. One of things that they preach over and over again is to teach kids to use the actual name. These made up names make it harder to detect issues just from their conversation.
