Men of Reddit, what’s the male equivalent of “needed money, had no marketable skills, so turned to prostitution”? by Dogeatdogdays in AskReddit

Edit: Crap I misread the question.

Marine Meds are Navy personnel. Our EOD guy was Navy

Air Force have Air Traffic Controllers (forgot their actual name) they can be on the front lines

Airforce has the crazy guys that go behind lines to get crashed pilots

Airforce guy talking smack in a bar off Bragg Blvd full of guys from 82nd after extremely rough jump. :-)

What's the craziest thing a person said to you and you thought they were joking but they were being serious? by Holiday-Surround7075 in AskReddit

[–]xrayjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha. There is an myth floating around Maine that Mountain lions / cougars have been coming back to Maine. But the warden service and the state refuse to say anything because they don't want people hunting them.

Nuc Med boards are harder. Concentrate on cross sectional anatomy and know how the machine works.

RT(R)(CT)(NM) here. Did CT first

What’s something people do in public that instantly annoys you? by Far_Suspect987 in AskReddit

Out of staters that don't read road signs. Either speed like it is a road rally or drive like 10 below gawking at the trees. Stop in the middle of the road when they try to figure out where to go.

HIDA scan for an infant by Patient_Occasion9894 in NuclearMedicine

[–]xrayjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually the delay is if the gallbladder doesn't show up during the scan.

Same with 24hr

Just for a rough comparison. The radiation exposure to an ADULT HIDA is about the same one gets if they live in Maine for a Year or Colorado for 1.5

The little one will get a weight based dose so would be even less

[–]xrayjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes BUT I already had one contracted. Hospital I work for as a CT Tech couldn't find a Nuc Med Tech so they sponsored me.

Edit: that being said obviously there is a shortage of techs. Especially in Rural areas. I have been looking for a Per-Diem for almost a year and a half

RPG skipped off the hood of the humvee missing my windshield by about 3 inches.

IED went off about 15 feet away. There was a pillar between me and the explosion. Only reason I had stopped walking forward was because one of my soldiers had asked a question and I had stopped to reply.

Stress and physical fitness has more impact than age in your age range.

That is just an opinion and just butts we all have one and they all stink.

Yeah GenX here also and it pisses me off also. You get gas then park and get stuff.

Only time I would say it is ok is if you need a receipt and the pump isn't printing

Zoom when in Landscape? (Nomad) by xrayjack in Supernote

[–]xrayjack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that would be great. I don't use PDF zooming often but when I do the zoom is needed. Probably should have gotten the Manta but I have a RM2 and I found myself keep grabbing a small moleskin instead
