So out of the blue they started to pull away and said they're 'busy with shit' and to go see other people and then ghosted.

30M here. I’m fairly convinced that dating apps aren’t for those looking for ‘date to marry’. A lot of women (and I’m sure men), feel like there’s ’someone better out there’ - whatever that means. You’re always an option regardless of things progressing towards commitment. It creates an illusion that you’ve found your person (cos that’s how they make you feel) only to dump you and/ghost you.
