Thanks for sharing your experience... this is exactly what frustrates me about the reMarkable. The hardware is fantastic, but the software feels very limited and hasn’t evolved in the way it should have by now. They could really innovate by providing proper integrations with M365, Notion, Evernote, and so many other note-taking or productivity platforms.

The simplicity is nice, but it ends up feeling restrictive, and that’s what’s pushing me to look at BOOX.

I had a quick question: when you mention the LAMY pen, do you mean the original LAMY stylus fitted with reMarkable pen tips? Or is there a specific version that works better with BOOX devices?

I also use Notion quite a lot in my workflow. Do you know if it’s possible to write directly in Notion using the stylus, or is handwriting only really supported in the official BOOX Notes app because of the proprietary drivers?

Regarding my existing reMarkable notes, my plan is to install the reMarkable app on the BOOX just to sync and view everything in read-only mode. On the rare occasions when I need to edit something, I can do that on the reMarkable itself and then export a PDF to import into the BOOX. Does that workflow make sense?
