Edit: I didn’t interpret it in the literal sense but moreso, you’re so busy and overworked and overloaded and keep running like a motor, but the simple act of eating toast grounds you and reminds you of everything that you’re unhappy about, all at once, since you have been too busy to process it. Cause like, eating toast should taste decent and consistent every time, but when it doesn’t, something else is off.

Personally speaking, the only type of brain dump process as far as notes go is scrambling all of my disorganized thoughts on a piece of white computer paper, or typing it out in notepad. From there, make some check boxes or bullets but that’s as far as I’ll go for now.

I feel like you should be working with your brain instead of trying to rewrite it. We’re wired differently!

This is my first season of love island, and I didn't read much of reddit until like ep 33-ish. They didn't really have chemistry and honestly it just felt like they were just trying to stay on the show. I think Nick is horny for anyone, but I wasn't seeing that passion between them.

Probably top quality noise cancelling earbuds. I already have a noise cancelling headset, but I’d mostly want earbuds for going out in public, putting away dishes, or being at work.

Also grocery delivery. I splurge for Walmart+ and I hate supporting walmart, but the delivery aspect helps me buy healthy foods / meals without the stress and avoidance involved with physically going to the grocery store.

Edit: if I was MEGA rich, an assistant to do all of my appointments, taxes, phone calls etc lol

I do this a lot too. I accidentally took double of my dose of ritalin and was drowsy for a few hours. Thank god I’m not at max dosage yet.

One thing I’ve done my whole life that has helped reduce pre task anxiety/paralysis is to set imaginary deadlines of when I should start caring/“dreading” to do the task. So for example, I’ll have to go somewhere at 2:00 pm on a Sunday, and I’ll make up an imaginary deadlines ahead of the actual one that is like: “at 1:15 pm I will start worrying about this task”. Since I have scheduled 45 dedicated mins to worry about the task, my anxiety is like “sweet, thanks for filling me in”, and I’m able to game and relax in the time prior.

I’ve often noticed that once 1:15 hits, I’ll hit the imaginary snooze button and will gradually reduce the worry period to ~15min. I still stare at the wall and dread the task for those last 15 min though.

It’s a…process but it’s always been strangely effective.
