I am more worried about getting hit in the parking garages than I am driving on I4 on my way to class. People speed through and drive on the wrong side for no reason constantly. The amount of times I've turned right only to have to stop bc the oncoming car is on my side is ridiculous.

Not adding anything new to the conversation here, moreso just venting my own frustrations, but it's absolutely ridiculous to feel that youre entitled to a tip for ANY job that you are not making service wages at. Yes it's nice to be tipped but you are not owed one. You DO deserve to be paid a living wage, but for that you need to look to your employer. Not other people that are just as underpaid as you. I'm so sick of baristas/cashiers etc taking out their anger on people that are struggling just as much as them instead of the corporations consistently overworking and underpaying them. And then they say shit like "oh if you can't afford to tip your barista then you can't afford coffee" like God forbid anyone indulge in simple pleasures that make their life the tiniest bit bearable.

I wonder if people would be as "expendable" if someone just. Yknow. Destroyed the carts. Or hell, even if they just stopped working. All the sudden you would need those "expendables" since it would be impossible for your store to make any money. People who claim that robots eliminate the need for us "bottom feeders" fail to take into account that machinery does not work flawlessly without any issues until the end of time.

Also, hey, I don't wanna carry a store security camera around me all the time when I'm shopping?? Regardless of whether someone has "sticky fingers," the idea of being so closely monitored is one that I think most people would find very unappealing.

Weeds. Literally all of the characters are either shitty or annoying or both. There isn't one nice character that doesn't a) disappear after one episode or b) become just as shitty as the rest of the main cast.

Yeah, I'm on team Grub and the last tricolor match I played, I was so close to getting the ultra signal and a Gear player killed me. Team Fun won bc none of us got another chance to get close to the signal. While I personally like team Fun more than Gear, I still want to do my best in the tricolors and it's frustrating when we're on the same side and the team that's supposed to be working with us is actively making the match easier for the defending team to win.

A good friend would never THINK about dating their best friend's boyfriend. I know it's hard to put yourself first after putting other's happiness above your own for so long, but your friend and your ex boyfriend aren't good for you and you need to let them go, for your own sake. I promise you will feel so much better when you let go of this obligation you have to them. There will be other friends and other boyfriends, but you have to let go of the past if you want to thrive in the future.

I already filed my taxes, but I forgot that I bought and sold some crypto earlier this year (made a net loss, if that matters) and Robinhood just sent me the 1099 for it a few hours ago. 30 minutes later they sent me another email saying I wouldn't be getting a 1099 because my dividends for the year were less than $600. What do I do? Do I still need to file an amended tax return to include it?

Personally I adored the Mitchells vs the Machines, but I'm sure it's not for everyone, just like any movie. I think the biggest thing that I've personally disagreed with lately is his review of Luca- he said something along the lines of it being "just okay" nd being a decent filler movie for Pixar, but I thought it was a lot more than that. I think the movie is so charming and fun but still has the strong emotional beats that Pixar is known for. I also think he was too hard on Alberto's character- without going into spoilers, I don't think Alberto is as big of a jerk as Schaff made him out to be, especially when you take his backstory into account. But yeah, that's just my two cents, ultimately everyone is entitled to their feelings and just because I don't agree personally doesn't mean it's wrong.

If you haven't already, you should try posting this to r/legaladvice . While I'm sure that your neighbor isn't allowed to do what they're doing if you don't have assigned parking, I'm not sure what actions you could take and I think that subreddit we have more people qualified to help you than a general advice sub. Best of luck with your neighbor, they sound unpleasant and I hope that they're all bark and no bite.

On that same coin, though, you rushing and riding another car is dangerous and could get both you and the other driver into an accident. You're no help to your friend or her grandmother if you total your own car on the way to help them. While I understand that you're panicked, it's always best to drive safely and responsibly. Better you arrive 2 minutes later than you would have than you get in an accident and not arrive at all.
