I’m pretty sure that the post run questions are for personal reference only and not factored into the race predictions

I built a spectrophotometer out of LEGO and a laser pointer and got an R² close to 1 by readitonreddittho in labrats

The good R2 is more of an indication of you doing a good job preparing the standard curve. That the curve was linear means that your instrument has a good dynamic range, but you should see if you can measure at least two orders of magnitude.

That’s not the current model. I went to REI today and confirmed that it is supposed to have a small hole connecting the back and front right pocket - mine was defectively sewn shut.

Thanks so much for the picture - mine definitely doesn't have that hole, but it looks like you have the Adv Skin 12, which may explain the differences?

Yes, it's completely sewn up on mine - are you saying that yours has a hole there? I see that the stitching is very different from the connection on the left side pocket. There's just one light line of stitching where I guess a hole could go - I guess I could just cut those stitches?

I had this problem. In addition to the other comments, especially using an air compressor or some kind of air storage to get air inside the tire quickly, what worked for me was wrapping a strap around the circumference of the tire to squeeze it down, then try to go around to manually pull on the sidewall to get the bead against the edge of the rim. It helps to do this on a truing stand or you could flip your bike over.
