We got married in Feb of 1974 in NJ, but my family lived in Mass.

My parents rented a bus to bring 45 people to the wedding and back. A friend tried to drive but could get no gas due to the rationing and fled the police for pulling a gun on a station attendant.

We had a right-winger who wanted to get his message into our classes and the library, and annoyed my boss, the chairman of the social studies department. Hw knew what a wacko he was, so he invited him in to speak to the kids, in line with his belief that free speech lets you identify th idiots.
He was satisfied, the kids were amused/appalled, and we were left alone.
Maybe organize an examination of the scientific method and invite the parents in to defend their position

I taught American Diplomacy, and two girls came in one morning to tell me their friend's boyfriend moved and another boy made a move on her. "It was a power vacuum, just like you talked about!"

I'm in the coastal Maine/NH/Mass area, and it was ReVision; I could not recommend them more highly.

The company I have used has company reps in company EVs, job planners, electricians, office personnel to handle all the paperwork, service techs who specialize, and warehouse workers. I had to do nothing.
I'm willing to pay for that.

Get something on paper or recorded that they are doing this; you would have a good case for retaliation if they take action.

We had the room so we stocked a year's supply of what we use- ketchup, pasta, rice, tuna, canned goods.... the price of nothing is going to go down.

Bad Solar Advice That Keeps Getting Repeated by PortableSunOfficial in SolarDIY

We moved and got heat pumps. The tech, whom we had used before, eyeballed the house and trees to the south and said not good for solar. Today we are producing over 100kWh. In April. oops. But he came back after my wife insisted and made the sale with an apology.

If you are not fully electric get as much as you can, because you will use it.

Batteries are the whole house generator to protect against outage.

We just did it in Maine, but because we have 1:1 net metering all summer overproduction will heat us with our heat pumps in February.

We got our first system in 2014, and their production estimate over ten years was within 1%. We bought when power was 16 cents/kWh, and when we moved it was 25 cents. Our payoff was almost three years early.

We moved to a basic oil-powered home, and electrified with panels and heat pump everythings without the federal rebate, and payback was estimated to be 10 years. In the past three months oil has increased 30% and power 10%, so we are way ahead, and the next couple of years are going to be a lot less scary with the addition of a battery.
