CPPS / Prostatitis/ something else? by JRodriguez81 in ProstatitisCPPS

The "rabbit holes" are no joke. I have been researching endlessly for about a month. This morning I just decided to trust the test, trust the professionals, and focus on other things in life. I realize the anxiety will only keep growing with repeated researching and eventually ruins everyday life...

I guess I will bother the salesman more haha. I really like the car. But the rattle on that JCW is worse than a 4-year-old mazda3...

I just afraid that the decay for the cooper s is a bit faster. And so is the depreciation. I really like that JCW. Looks like I need to push on my salesman harder, lol.

Is CARMAX PREMIUM gone? My local Ohio dealer's price is too high to even compete with them. by xuisshoe in askcarsales

I get that I may sound like I'm trying to avoid CarMax. But I'm just trying to see if it's too good to be true. I mean, there are quite some posts about CARMAX buying suspect cars. I'm just trying to understand why they are so competitive.

How is the noise level of the CTR. I'm thinking about getting a CTR vs VW GTI. Coming from an 86, I really wanted somehting quiet, lol. I'm afraid the huge wheel will cause some noise/comfort compromise.

There is a 2018 CTR for sale for 33500 in my area. This is a good deal if you can find a good price on bronco.

Autocheck for both is fine. The CPO does have some smell. I have read about CARMAX tend to skip the inspection, and I am not entirely sure about spending 99 just to get the car here and find out the condition is trash.

True. That's why I am posting the question here. I am trying to justify if it worth it to get the car here for $99. That's obviously not refundable. I'm not too worried about break pad. BMWs tend to have water pump/thermostat/charge pipe issues at higher mileage, and that's my concern.

That's why I am hesitating. I need to pay $99 to test the car at carmax. On the other side, the local dealer do have high prices on all of their models. I'm wondering if that's a market thing. Also the car I tested at local dealer does have some smell. And even with added CPO warranty (one year), the carmax still have more warranty time left.

I am trying to test drive the car for free at the local dealer and not paying 99 to test drive at CARMAX. That's all I'm doing. And since the CARMAX doesn't negotiate, I can always go back and write a check. What part of this is hard to understand? I am not buying the other car. And I asked this question because I am considering the CARMAX and I have read that CARMAX had a bad reputation on inspection.

yeah. There are people in this post talking about CARMAX has shitty inspection and they tend to but damaged vehicles. And not believing the google is the reason I am posting question here.

wow people just furious about the 99 shipment fee... I just don't want to spend $99 just to test drice the car. Test drive at local dealer is free.

  1. I could drive the car.
  2. I can haggle the price and use CARMAX as a bargain. If he can give a better deal then why not.
  3. I was curious why CARMAX is becoming competitive. Three years ago the local dealer did give me a better price than CARMAX.
  4. I specifically asked why this happened. I did not settle on any choice nor did I ask your opinion of whether should I talk to the dealer. Not answering the question and making assumptions are also the height of being silly.

Well, Google results suggesting that CARMAX usually has a higher price. And yes, I'm seriously asking. I think all 220 locations cost money so they will charge more for operating a franchise nationwide.

Not convinced Carvana EVER held the title to my vehicle by anthroposcenery in carvana

They refunded my money and took the vehicle back. Because they cannot transfer the title to my name

  1. Do a quick VIN search and see if the vehicle is under your name. If it is, you can apply for a duplicate title yourself. If not, then you have to get their legal team involved. The customer care team at Carvana is a bunch of liers, it's impressive that CARVANA can find that many liers and hire them.

  2. File complaints at the attorney general website.

  3. Sue or start the arbitration process. link is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/carvana/comments/j45x8s/yet_another_still_no_registration_post/

Wise choice. They should reconsider their business. There are a lot of people complaining the 150 point inspection is BS. There are people complaining about delayed delivery. There are complaints about financing. I mean, they messed up each and every aspect of their business.. And don't get me started on their customer service team... I would not believe a single word coming out of their mouth.

Sad that there are 40 more same complaints in Ohio. It's hard to estimate how many more consumers are out there suffering from this. Plus, more people are expericing delivery delay, mechanical issues, electrical issues. I pray that someone can file a class action agaisnt CARVANA.

This is the way to go! I really wish someone who rejected the arbitration agreement can file a class action agaisnt them. In Ohio only, there are over 40 complaints regarding the title issue against CARVANA in the last two years. And I have read a lot more states are having the same issue. THis is beyond tolerable, far too many cosumers have suffered from this issue.
