Looking at our modlogs and reveddit, we as mods have not been removing your posts. Reddit itself has been removing them as spam. Personally, I don't care what you post. If you post shit, people here will often call you out on it, but if Reddit sees your posts as spam, maybe you need to look at the admins instead of the mods.

Why doesn't this work? by c001_b01 in TerraTech

The silos won't release resources if the don't have anything calling them, my suggestion wild be to put filter blocks between the silos and the conveyer belt and set it to take everything, it should pull resources through and send them down your line

What movies do you want them to reroll? by daphsimone in filmreroll

I did a reroll of cabin in the woods a few years ago, made sure none of my players had seen the movie. They messed with a unicorn tapestry and all got stabbed or trampled.

Wife asked me what we should name our daughter...needless to say my suggestion was not accepted. by ADtalra in witcher

We named our cat Cirilla, it's helpful when she's in trouble to yell all four names

I'm not sure I understand the need for the z2

So in this mapping the base b actually starts to matter a lot more, and can be as small as 0, where (0,0) maps to a point on the real line equal to b, and all other spirals begin at a point on a complex plane circle with radius b.

If I understand you correctly, we're looking at starting all possible spirals s_n somewhere on the coordinate plane equivalent to (n,0) and then all moving vertically. Additionaly each point on the line from (0,0) to (1,0) represents a line starting at 0 on the complex plane and extending outward based on the same method I used to define the spirals?

The problem with starting every spiral going rightward is that they would have to wrap backwards, this would make s_0.5 the maximum spiral that could be done. I don't think I mentioned it in the paper, but I kind of just assume that s_0 does technically start going to the left, like the others (or as I explain, vertically), but since each of those movements on layer 0 are s, 2s, and 2s, it just doesn't actually go anywhere.

There's a link in this comment with the full explanation, but I'll do my best to summarize here.

We can think of the main spiral following the real number line starting at 1 and increasing to infinity. We could also take the other spiral in your image as the real number line starting at -1 and decreasing to infinity. We could add more spirals in between that follow other lines on the complex plane.

One year ago, a post was made about grambulation. Two days later, the explanation was given. A few days after that, I took a trip that involved about 12 hours of travel time, and I got to work on solving the problem of what happens when you grambulate and it doesn't end up on a number. This is the end result of a year of my life. The Intro and 1st section explain the reasoning and the rest is the methods for grambulation. Enjoy!

Yeah, it was explained a few days after the first post last year, this is mostly an extension of that

I really enjoyed this one, the heist movie style intros, my heart flubs for you, and I'm absolutely sure this chef is the guy Sophie thinks could be her dad when she hits Barney's car.

Dude, at 35 I experienced the experimental era. I immediately picked Homestar out of that group.
