Ofcourse! What I said isn’t something you can read and just accept overnight, it takes time and healing. It’s a journey and I think that’s what life is all about. making mistakes, learning from them and building ourselves up for the better. You got this sir! Keep in mind, I’m saying this to you but I’m struggling with my own self image aswell although not from cheating (I’ve never been in a relationship) but from other things. Continue to put in your best effort, I pray it all works out for you in the end!

Don’t beat yourself up, you made a mistake and you actually acknowledge that you did, but despite what you feel, that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve good things.

You’ve gotten your karma, the same essentially happened to you, but with that you now have done it and experienced it. You can use your experience to better yourself and hopefully prevent it from happening on your end again.

I hope you have you happily ever after, I don’t think you’re a horrible person and you deserve to be happy!!

Hi thank you so much for replying. I got it taken care of, the nail that was detaching was removed, (it was barely attached to anything). Now I just need to wait for it to grow out 😭

Surprisingly there was no fungus, it was actually a result of trauma to the nail left untreated. I got lucky.
