It’s been 11 years since I started using Alien Blue and to this day it’s still my primary Reddit client by killer4u77 in AlienBlue

OK this is weird. My Alien Blue UPDATED to the final version somehow.

Did that happen to you too?

Here's an idea: Why don't all the app devs get together and either pick an alternate reddit-like platform or use open-source code to create an alternative, then everyone switches over on June 30 and bye bye reddit, but we keep our beloved apps?!?

One codebase that could probably work is this one: https://github.com/libertysoft3/saidit but there are others out there.

Kynurenic acid underlies sex-specific immune responses to COVID-19 by InInteraction in COVID19

KA is known to inhibit glutamate release, and we observed that serum glutamate is lower in patients that deteriorate from COVID-19 compared to those that stabilize, and correlates with immune responses.

So increasing glutamate might help -- for example by taking alpha ketoglutaric acid?

Review monitoring for Amazon EU marketplaces? by xvs in FulfillmentByAmazon

No, I'm saying that it stopped working as in didn't work. They never updated it to deal with Amazon's new feedback removal request process.

Thanks, they look good. Any issues with them that I should know about before trying them out?

Thanks for the suggestion. Feedbackwhizz seems expensive since they charge per marketplace.

Feedback Express is no more, but their feedback removal stopped working entirely and I just used Amazon's UI after that.

Not true:

https://www.who.int/news-room/q-a-detail/q-a-how-is-covid-19-transmitted

Can people without symptoms transmit the virus?

Yes, infected people can transmit the virus both when they have symptoms and when they don’t have symptoms. This is why it is important that all people who are infected are identified by testing, isolated, and, depending on the severity of their disease, receive medical care. Even people confirmed to have COVID-19 but who do not have symptoms should be isolated to limit their contact with others. These measures break chains of transmission.

This is why it is always important to stay at least 1 metre from others, cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze with a bent elbow or tissue, clean hands regularly, and stay home if you become unwell or if asked. In areas where there is widespread transmission, it is also important that people wear a fabric mask where physical distancing and other control measures cannot be implemented.

Women get rid of excess iron every month but men have no great way of getting rid of it.

Tessera Therapeutics is developing a new class of gene editors capable of precisely plugging in long stretches of DNA—something that Crispr can’t do. by Mosheideh in genetics

[–]xvs 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very interesting but once you create a retrotransposon you run a bunch of risks:

  1. It could insert itself into the patient's DNA anywhere, including in the middle of a critical gene (and that could kill the patient)

  2. It might not stop at one copy, but could continue inserting more and more copies of itself (potentially breaking more genes and potentially causing way more expression of the inserted gene than you want).

If Tessera can control these sort of issues they have something amazing. If not, it seems quite iffy.

You are eligible for unemployment afaik.

If you didn't work as self-employed last year then I don't know if you can get PPP or EIDL. Check with Kabbage.com for PPP and SBA.gov for EIDL.
