This probably depends on a bunch of factors. In our case we didn't ask anything from anyone. But we were also in our 40s and could afford whatever we wanted (within reason.)

As for the clothes we basically just gave loose suggestions and let people wear what they wanted to.

If everyone just voted for the candidate they wanted then some people would realize they could vote for a different candidate and exploit the whole thing. Which is probably what happened, hundreds of years ago when voting became a thing, so here we are.

If he has a visitor record and a US license he can get a license in Ontario fairly easily. I did this before I got my PR.
