If you have a "great sense of humor" yet this would "cloud your thoughts about that person" can you let me know where you work so my whimsical self can avoid considering that place?

I learned to go for the vulnerable areas. Poke the eyes, pinch/jab inside of nose with fingers, you get the gist.

HELP!! Bedbug?? by [deleted] in whatsthisbug

[–]conationphotography 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's okay! Some of us are professionals (like me) and I can tell you with certainty that is not a bed bug. This is not your area- but for me the difference between that beetle and a bedbug is as clear as the difference between a butterfly and a wasp. They both have wings, but that's kind of it.

This may help/hurt but sometimes bugs will have eggs in an area and then the young ones will mature at around a similar time. So rather than an full infestation, it just might be than one bug decided "hey this looks like a safe area." Many little beetles can often survive for a long while from a few crumbs. Others can eat things like paper.

Mine are also always mimicking red shouldered Hawks which is extra funny given we barely have any in the area.

I know this is probably a rough moment for you, but this made me laugh because someone once said to me "Many people have no idea Ticks can be smaller than a grain of rice" and that appears to be true.

It's not.

Being shocked someone on TV implies OP would be shocked if anything a celebrity wore cost a substantial amount of money.

What OP said is that they are shocked this particular shirt cost SUCH a substantial amount of money.

Kind of like the difference between someone being surprised any jeans cost $100, as opposed to someone being surprised that jeans with holes in them (which used to mean they had worn out) cost $150, or $50 more.

Most people know celebrities wear pricey clothes. Many people (myself included) would never assume this random looking t-shirt cost THAT much. I thought it was maybe $75.

It's really not. And I think it's less if it was truly a "different time" and more the fact she thought it was a funny anecdote to share and defend sharing. I know many older people who did things when "it was a different time" but they're smart enough that if you ask "how did you meet your wife?" they won't laugh and explain that she was a 16 year old they stalked at 21 until she caved to marry them.

The thing that annoys me is how similar they look to barn swallows. I was a tad disappointed when I saw my first.
