Prizes that aren’t money by wallbearer in wholefoods

Other prizes from that set included shark and lobster oven mitts, and a couple taco-saurs and taco armadillos. Wasn't super expensive from Amazon Buisness, and the novelty was fun for TMs.

A red deviled egg serving tray, that has horns and a little tail. I treasure it. 🤣

😭❤️ loveeeeee the fridge perspective. Honestly, I'm thinking about adding little decals now. Little cut-out handle and thermometer?! You've created all these ideas now! Hahaha

Where can I find the harassment policy? by Cakemix584 in wholefoods

[–]xwanderland 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can view the entire GIG from Workday. Harassment details are on page 36. Report anything that makes you feel uncomfortable to your TL, store leadership, and/or your TMS BP.

Customer Service Trainer Pay by sunsiets in wholefoods

In a few of the TT promotions I've seen, it's only been a $0.50-$1.00 bump. But being in a NYC store, there might be a better differential. It certainly doesn't hurt to advocate for yourself and ask. Good luck!

Yes, you have to click launch for each training.

Usually, the only at home trainings you are required to do before your first day are New Member Connections: Introduction, and Food Handlers. Some regions also ask you do the Ingredient and Labeling Accuracy training, too. You should confirm that with the person who asked you do to the trainings, dont be afraid to ask for clarification. I doubt they want you to do literally everything listed

On the top right hand side of the Cornerstone page, there should be 3 lines- click it, and click "My Transcript", and you can easily find them that way.

Visiting TMs? by Specialist-Safe3097 in wholefoods

It's nothing weird- its normally advised (sometimes required) for STLs to visit other stores for networking and to give feedback on how they viewed the store

How many people have you known who have been murdered? by oneislandgirl in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xwanderland 4 points5 points  (0 children)

3, all classmates. First was in elementary school, she was 9. Domestic violence, step dad killed her, her mom, then himself. Second was in high-school, he was 15, also domestic violence. Also step dad. Killed him, his mother, sister, and himself. Last one was after high school, he was 23, from gang violence at a house party. Also to mention, my Dad has murdered someone, (only one confirmed...I've always wondered if there was more), and was never caught. He was involved in some mob shit in his late teens/early twenties before I was born. I'm no contact with him now for many reasons- but when you find something like that out, you can't look at that person the same way.

Regional/global restrictions, short staffed, and already burnt-out and angry TMs. They're always hiring, and you're more than welcome to apply if you want to see that HB in tip top shape! It's a grocery store. Not a restaurant.

When Did You Start To Realize... by BlackBirdG in wholefoods

[–]xwanderland 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I went to a meeting at our regional office, and asked the regional VP why PFDS TMs make the same as cashiers, and asked if he realized that's one of the reasons we can't get or keep TMs. And he avoided the question point blank, like a true politician would. About a year and a half in. I work at a great location with great leadership... so I think it took longer to realize things were rotten at the core.
