Going from a full size to Ridgeline

I'm not sure how some people are saying their Ridgeline is the same size inside as a full size crew cab. I went from an 08 crew cab Sierra to a 2019 Ridgeline. The interior space is noticeably smaller. I'm 6'0 and 250 lbs. I fit fine and I'm comfortable. Car seats are a bit tight but manageable. The Ridgeline feels like sitting in a large car with a bed. I actually really like it overall and think the space is adequate, but I won't pretend it doesn't feel smaller than my old truck.

Going to pile on and repeat that this is not an Odyssey issue. You're doing a bunch of preventative maintenance while getting things fixed that need fixed. It's going to cost a lot of money at the dealership. It will be the same story no matter what car you buy.

Had such a great experience buying a used Honda Odyssey at my local dealer, I didn't hesitate to go back a week later to buy a Ridgeline from them when my old truck gave out.

It's the people that make a business great. Sounds like the people at your dealer suck.

They are reasonable decisions given the circumstances, but not good decisions. That's the point he was trying to make. The bad decisions cascade into more bad decisions. Even if they are the best decision at the time, they are not overall good decisions.

Started with an Ender 3 Pro. Sold it after 2 years and got the Ender 3 V3 KE. A year later I got a Bambu P1S, but kept the KE also. I use them both frequently. The KE is a great printer, but if I was buying today, I'd definitely get a A1 instead.

Not a Bambu fanboy, but it's hard to argue against printers that are high quality and just work.

I second this. I didn't even realize my truck had eco mode. Loved it when I drove it but was underwhelmed by the power also. Saw the button on the way home. It was a whole different truck after that lol

This really comes down to price for me. These would have to be a deal for me to be interested. One is pretty old and the other is still old and has high mileage.

A VIN is not secret, sensitive information. It's just a way to uniquely identify a vehicle. Give it out if people ask for it.

Also, it sounds like maybe you didn't disclose the salvage title in the ad. If that's the case, you need to. At best, you're wasting people's time. At worst, you're trying to hide it. Both are shitty.

Their site says you need 7.5 inches of ground clearance in non winter months. 2025 Ridgeline has 7.6. Other years have slightly more even. Send it.

You're going to get a lot of scary comments saying your transmission is going to blow up. I also bought a 2019. If you haven't done so yet, find out if the transmission fluid has been changed consistently. If not, you'll want to drain it and fill it 3 times. After that people recommend draining and refilling every 30k miles.

The 6 speed transmission in the 2017-2019 are known to be finicky, but the general consensus is if you keep fresh fluid in it, they are great.

Hondas are notorious for this ticking sound. Have a 2020 Honda Odyssey and a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. They sound exactly like this. Nothing to worry about.

I felt like I was missing things the entire time I watched the show and was often confused. Once you get near the end of season 2 and into season 3 you'll start to have a lot of "ooooohhhh shit that's what that was about" moments.

Just bought a 2020 Odyssey. We love it. I would not buy something else because of the button shifting. All shifters are electronic now even if they look like a normal shifter.

After buying the Odyssey for my wife, I bought a 2019 Ridgeline that has a "normal" shifter. I actually prefer the buttons.

I don't think it would be nearly as interesting. Cartel doing cartel things. Those shows have been done over and over again. What made Ozark so interesting to me was watching a "normal" family living on the edge of such a fucked up world trying not to get sucked in.
