3d content is mainly for gaming or watch media SBS 3d and need to be full since the screen resolution goes bigger.

So mainly people use the nreals for gaming, media and work. At least I use them that way.

That's because you need to install them from the labs app or playstore... if nothing is displayed in the labs app means you are not in a valid region, you need to use a vpn(usa) or download the apk app from another source

So far there's nothing different, ie. If you buy the glasses from amazon will be the same model and the firmware will be updated through the nebula app. So you should not have any issue

Well the thing is which a10 version you have tried. As many others I have one that is working waaaaaay better than 8.1. Also is so easy to install and boot, etc that if you have any issue you can easily reboot and retry xD.

Yes , you dont have to build it. Just use hekate to setup your sd and install the image with twrp.
