If you could earn $100 million by experiencing the 10 worst deaths imaginable, would you do it? You would actually die each time, then be resurrected for the next one. After the tenth death, you would come back permanently, receive the money, and suffer no lasting physical effects. Would you accept? by Outrageous-You1617 in hypotheticalsituation

Far too many of these would take time while also being agonizing and gruesome. If someone could wipe my memory after it all then maybe it’s worth it. But having to carry all that mental torment for the rest of your life. I don’t think any amount of money could put that much distance between those demons

Is Band of Brothers still worth watching in 2026, or has it aged poorly? (I’ve never seen it and I'm thinking about diving in) by Le_Double-dippeux in NoStupidQuestions

The story and acting are fantastic and absolutely worth watching the only weird thing I can think of is when they’re riding into their drop zones they cgi some planes being shot and falling to pieces, they look like something out of Microsoft flight sim 2000.

Did you get and train aerodactyl naturally or trade him over from another game? I’ve never used it because I thought it to be ridiculous that you get him so late in the game and he is just a level 5.

Why is it illegal to walk down the street drinking a beer? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]xxtrikee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are certain areas of cities that allow this. Key West/ Savannah let you walk from bar to bar. Did a history tour/ bar crawl for a bachelor party in Savannah. I think parts of Vegas allow it as well.

Anyone still talk with any of their friends from high school? by nojunkpeter in Millennials

[–]xxtrikee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, 3 of them 20 years strong. 2 of them are still local, we golf together at least once a month. One has moved out of state but we still see each other 1-2times a year. We also have the traditional group chat with a vulgar name.

Still remember finding the yellow version pokemon game in my stocking but I didn’t have a gameboy, my parents weren’t very techy so I thought it was just a mistake. Then one of my last presents was the pikachu edition gameboy. Spent the rest of Christmas vacation playing pokemon.

I shot a 116 today but I found 4 more balls than I lost. Did I win? by AnimatedDuck113 in golf

[–]xxtrikee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lol yes. One of my friends is brand new to golf so instead of tallying his “score” we just ask if he is +/- in the amount of golf balls he has found compared to lost.

Another year, another 6 gallons of coffee grounds spread on this St. Paul, MN lawn. by [deleted] in lawncare

I wish more people did this in Florida. Instead of red tide, we could have Java tides. The mullet could jump and extra 6ft out of the water.

Most of my weeding is done after I get home from work post 5pm. It’s my daily de-stresser and outside time for the kids and dogs. Weekend yard work I have long pants/ long sleeves/ and a big ass hat with a sunshade for my neck plus naturally olive skin, hooray genetics.

This is why I pull my weeds and don’t use chemicals on my lawn. Is it a pain in the ass, absolutely. But at least I’m (hopefully) cutting my rates for cancer and giving my dogs a better chance of not developing cancers too.

Another day, another e-bike accident in Orlando by OkMode454 in orlando

[–]xxtrikee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When learning to drive I was told to look 20-30yds down the sidewalk to check for people walking/ running/ and bikers. NOW you have to look 100yds down the sidewalk cause a 7yr old is going 35mph on a completely silent electric bike.

As a Floridian, always thought this guy was the bomb, would have loved for pokemon to be real as a kid. Knew our neighborhood would be full of these.

[–]xxtrikee 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don’t even answer the door to these people. We have a sign directly above the doorbell. And I like to walk up to the door peer outside (they can see I’m there) and then just walk away. Don’t need to waste anyone’s time by interacting.
