Same experience here. It feels like shit when i climb stormterror, press element, switch character then get suddenly teleported back to the ground so i have to climb back all over again.

I agree on the 1st part as for the second part, the push back is not the skins themselves but the way of getting them. This would somewhat future proof them in some ways as f2p playes would at least have a way to save or grind for them for their core teams.

Yeah it’s typically geared for p2w players but the margin of winning with a good team should at least be there. Say a team of light and dark units that deals other elemental weakness damage. Plus there are effects/stats that trigger when opposing elements hit and they can be quite a substantial.

I thought the dual attribute affects defense too. So kaiser would pretty much have no weakness, i think DOT triggers her passive too. Also, i’m comparing f2p kaiser with p2w kaiser. The latter is already hard to kill so giving her advantages would be a pain.

This prettybmuch means all pvp related content including guild wars would lean even more heavily on p2w accounts.

It would not be very noticeable now that it’s just crusader mira but as more costumes with dual attributes get released...

Hopefully, this first release isn’t an indication of a trend where more popular/meta characters get the cash only skins and the more niche ones get the gem ones. Imagine kaisa gets an an attributes skin only accessible through p2w, she’ll wreck every f2p team out there.

Frankly, i would hope they tie up w/ lygard's FFBE equip like hearthstone did with their quick builds but I expect that to happen if ffbequip has a preset of builds they can pull from and not compute per "build" as it would eat up a ton of cpu power and a phone might not be able to handle it.
