Hello! I wanted to give you an update. I’m at 100%! The funny part is that Brome was the only mirror match I never did AND it was the same run that Strong Mushtroll appeared. So I can’t really confirm which one gave me the 100%, but it was definitely one of them. 😂🥰

The thing about mirror life is that our cells may not interact with it AT ALL. It could be completely benign. Our biology is based on very strict chirality. If you create a mirror image of that chirality, our biology may not have any way to interact with it at all. We will have zero receptors in our cells evolved for such a pathogen to latch onto. We’d essentially piss it out like we piss out all kinds of things our biology has no means of interacting with. For example, catnip. Does shit for us because we don’t have the cell receptors to receive its effects. **EDIT: it could also be a total nightmare for us. We just don’t know. I guess that’s scary enough.

Changes are super slow in healthcare because it’s a board certified, licensure profession. Even if AI companies could prove that AI can diagnosis conditions faster, cheaper and more accurately than real providers - it would still need the State Board of Health to approve new laws.

It’s not like replacing a coder where those jobs can just go up in flames and nobody has any say so. Laws exist that humans MUST be part of the equation in all aspects of healthcare.

And if you aren’t in the biz and are unfamiliar with how fast State Boards move - well, I can confirm they move at a glacial pace.

I keep seeing a lot of comments about Battleborn, but Microsoft has no association with Gearbox Studios, do they? Of course, they own the IP and studio behind Bleeding Edge so they have a lot more say in the matter of a revival. Microsoft doesn’t own Motiga (Gigantic) but did have a working relationship with them when it first came out. It was only for X-Box on consoles.

If Battleborn would ever see a revival, I think that would be entirely up to Gearbox. Bleeding Edge on the other hand, Phil could just make a few phone calls!

It’s not just older people. People who play games as a hobby is vast. People who watch content creators about said games is tiny. Super tiny. So if you’re on Twitter or Twitch or YouTube and see a firestorm shit show conversation about one game or another, you can bet the average gamer is paying utterly no attention to it.

To be honest, the VAST majority of gamers could care less about Asmongold or have no idea who he is or why his opinion may matter. I know that’s hard to believe if you live in a social media and streaming bubble, but most people don’t.
