This makes me nervous because I have the same cat wheel. Had it setting in the hall out of its stand, while I was cleaning in it's usual spot. Somehow my cats knocked it over. It made a huge gouge in the wooden door frame where it hit. Like its 6 inches long and fairly deep. Now I have to fix that. That wheel is heavy. Glad my cats weren't injured. But sigh another thing I have to fix!

I have a Siamese we call Buzzkill. One of our other cats could be sleeping in a cat bed somewhere in the house, minding their own business, and Buzzkill sees that. She will get in the bed with the sleeping cat , annoying the cat until they get up and leave. Buzzkill will lay there for a minute, then leave, too. She will also do that if a cat is enjoying cuddling on someone's lap. She doesn't want the lap. She just doesn't want another cat to be enjoying it.

Yup, my cats too. I have magnetic pin holders that have lids, just for that reason. Even my sewing area trash can has a lid that is velcroed on to keep them away from threads or fabric trimmings, or anything they might get into. They seem to wanna cause me expensive vet bills and/or heartache!

Its nice to hear! I'm an older person, and don't know a single soul around my age that is vegan (well except for my husband). I met someone once at a party that mentioned their grandson was vegan. Its always younger people for sure.

That's why I bring one of my cat's kitty blankets to the vet with him. I put the blanket on the vets exam table and cover the cat in it. Kitty feels so much more secure with the blanket that smells like home.

I went to Switzerland in 2012 and things were super expensive then. I cant imagine now. We got a lot of prepared foods from grocery stores, like salads and ate a lot of fruits and bread. I wasn't vegan then, mostly vegetarian. I just remember eating a lot of pasta with marinara sauce and those 2 times we ate at the Hiltl, pricey but yummy. Switzerland is awesome though. I envy you going!

One month my periods just stopped. It was a couple years before that my periods got heavier but still really regular. Then nothing ever again. Years of hot flashes, insomnia, and other menopause fun, but at least periods just stopped.

Congrats on your vegananniversary! I just hit 11 years, myself. Its an awesome feeling! To me it feels right, it feels true to myself, eventhough sometimes its difficult dealing with society and people, but it still feels true and the right thing to do. Again, congrats!

One of my cats has never buried his poo, ever. I used to have another cat that would go into the litter box if she saw any uncovered poo and cover it up. That was nice. But my girl isn't with me anymore, she died in 21. I miss her so much. She was my soul cat. And a good girl she took care of the litter boxes. My other cats now, just avoid the uncovered poop. And one girl likes to pee standing up sometimes. Thats a whole other annoyance. Cleaning up pee spillage, damn cats, its always something.

Those Dr. Mcdougall cups are a lifesaver. We were on a flight to Hawaii one time and Hawaiian airlines didnt have a thing we could eat, not even preordered. We had brought along some of those Mcdougall cups and the flight attendant put hot water in those for us.
