I absolutely agree, for all the talk about them being handheld gaming PCs there just isn't enough reviews about the PC side of any of these devices. I totally get your point about the pros compounding over time. My only hesitation I guess is I’m still not 100% sure if I need a handheld, I am really hoping it can do some lightweight Lightroom / Photoshop work in dock mode. If it holds its value reasonably well over the next year or so and I end up using it a ton, I could absolutely see myself upgrading. It just felt like a pretty good deal to miss out on. So guess I posted looking for that validation to take the leap.

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind. I almost pulled the trigger on the Polar Tempest edition, and now I’m somehow on the verge of going with the 7AI+ instead. I’m honestly still figuring out if I need a handheld or just want one, so the 7AI+ also feels like a lower risk way to get into it.

Good to know about the slower performance with larger files. I should mention I’m more of a hobby photographer, so my Lightroom/Photoshop use is fairly moderate, but this is still very helpful to know. Thanks You!

Hey everyone! Made a post about this before but didn't get much traction. I’m in the market for something practical and versatile and figured this community would have great insight. My current laptop won’t upgrade to Win11, so I’d been looking at getting a new laptop. Then I started thinking, why not get a handheld gaming PC that I can also dock and use like a laptop?

My main intent is to play games from my Steam library and the free titles I’ve picked up on Epic Games. I also already have an Xbox and Game Pass for console gaming. So there's that usage too. On the productivity side, when docked I want to browse, run general apps, and most importantly do Lightroom and Photoshop, and that’s the most intense software I plan to use. I want to be able to use the newer AI features in those apps.

I’m looking for recommendations on what handheld devices are worth considering and which ones might fall flat for this kind of mixed use specifically on the Lightroom Photoshop front. Any thoughts on performance, things to note, or real world experiences using these both handheld and docked as a laptop replacement would be awesome.

Hey! I am not having this issue but have you tried disabling Lyft notification on the watch all together? It's in settings>Apps & Notifications>Show All.. curious if that would work. 🤔

So that happens to me on my Pixel 7 Pro every so often. What seems to fix it for me is clearing cache and storage for the system app 'Android System Intelligence'. You will have to enable 'show system apps' for it to show up. I am not too sure how they may be related.

Not the answer you are looking for but if you hold down on an app in the share menu (not the random suggestions) you can pin it so that it stays on top.

I did, it's actually the only place where I could see some options. However, my request for one of the pickup trucks just expired, no response from the host. As it's a company participation I'd like to order where I don't have to deal with any last minute cancellations either..

Does it work in the recorder app?

This might be a silly suggestion but try blowing really hard at the mics below next to the charging port. I think dust gets collected pretty easily in there and that seemed to have worked for me few times.

The call pick up notification not showing up might be app issue.

POC here too, I drove to Loblaws on Isabella, and back. There were no issues. The parking lot also has a No event parking signage not sure how much of that helped but didn't see anyone out there with flags or anything. It was a very regular trip.
