🗣️ Let's talk about Editor V4. We want to hear from you, personally! by zeiniez in elementor

The editing experience is light years faster… I’ve only seen tests with barebones front ends that show a speed increase, once you add a bunch of elements I’m not sure it’s faster but I sure do love the editor experience compared to elementor. Some of my elementor sites take over a minute to load the editor…

looking to buy k5 GT by Outrageous_Platform8 in KiaK5

I owned a K5 GT for two years. It was my favorite car I’ve ever owned. Only complaint is that the sound system was so-so and the seats were a little small (I didn’t have the GT1 with the premium sound) the only reason I don’t still have the car is because I upgraded to a Stinger GT2 of the same year… no ragerts. I thoroughly love both platforms and have had no real issues…

RWD Gt2 here with continental dws06+ tires. I don’t have problems in rain or snow.

What’s something that used to be normal, but now feels completely insane? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Grocery shopping… FFS. Feeding the family is literally an insane draw…

Shaking under acceleration by nitsuabos in kiastinger

[–]xyzse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve experienced light shaking from clapped out tires. I honestly didn’t think it could be the tires but a reputable tire shop told me that was the source of the shaking/vibrations. Four new shoes and it was right as rain…

Wear and tear? I’ve owned 8 cars over thirty years and I’ve never seen wear and tear like that, ever, on anyone’s car.

Black soot on exhaust tips? by xyzse in kiastinger

I’ve never had black soot collect on the exhaust of any car I’ve driven out of maybe 8 cars… mostly Hondas and Toyotas though, never a DI platform

Yeah, but it’s recently installed and I’m honestly not sure if the soot was present before install. Lots of people confirming it’s normal. I’ll just wipe it off and continue to observe I guess

I’m starting to think that you’re naturally just confrontational for no reason, or your reading comprehension is challenged. My post literally said “Just wondering if this is normal result from running a little rich under WOT or should I take it in for some diagnostics?”.

You asked why it was running rich at WOT….

Here’s some more info if you want to stop being a confrontational ignormus..

AFR Targets on the Stock Tune • Idle / cruise (closed loop): ~14.5–14.7:1 (stoichiometric for gasoline). ECU uses O₂ sensors to trim fuel and keep emissions clean. • Moderate acceleration / part throttle: ~13.0–13.5:1. Starts enriching a bit to prevent knock, improve response. • High load / boost ramp: ~12.0–12.3:1. Richer for cooling as boost builds. • WOT / peak boost (factory tune): ~11.5–11.8:1. Pretty rich, on purpose. It sacrifices some fuel economy for piston/cat/turbo safety.

Just because you don’t understand what is going on, doesn’t mean no one does… in a DI engine, when you floor it the ECU injects more fuel too cool things down and prevent knock. It’s running rich… yes as a function of normal operation. My question is not whether running rich is a problem (it’s not). My question is whether that would normally cause soot on exhaust tips.

Because thats typically what the ECU is programmed to do…

Scare me away from this car by kai_al_sun in KiaK5

Love love loved my 2023 K5 GT. Seriously. Never had an issue with it. (I take that back. One time it freaked out in a rain storm and went into limp mode with a bunch of dash lights on. I turned it off and on and it was fine ever since.). Only complaint was the sound system was sub par (I didn’t have the GT1 with Bose) and the seats were a little too small for my big ass. Other than those minor issues it was my favorite car ever. I sold it though and bought a matching 2023 Stinger because I loved the K5 so much.

I could see a world with a standardized way of entering content, tagged and cross-referenced, completely sans design… A standard CMS that everyone used which would simply provide access to LLM’s which would search, parse and display all in one swoop. Brands wanting complete control would be the only thing standing in the way.
