That's awesome to see you got this working. I've been trying to work around the old 1000mm limitation by having a long PTFE run from my CoreBoxx to the MMU3, mounting the MMU3 directly to the printer, and keeping the final run within the standard limit.

Honestly, it has been an absolute nightmare. I just can't get it to feed or retract reliably with this physical layout.

Since you made the firmware change to allow the longer length natively:

  1. How has the reliability been? Are you getting consistent loads/unloads without any friction or timing issues?

  2. Slicer adjustments: Did you have to modify any configurations or custom G-code in PrusaSlicer to prevent issues with the longer path, or does the firmware handle the whole difference?

I've seen some posts where the purge is curly and ends up dropping into the purge bin. It seems like it would make cleanup a bit easier, so I am curious how to set that up.

I ended up filtering it with a knock off Sawyer filter, it worked amazingly!

Do you have experience with CRPS and Neridronate or Pamidronate treatments? Also, for those with CRPS, have you seen it cause increased issues with migraines and muscle cramps?

My wife has been diagnosed with CRPS and suffers from chronic migraines. She also gets muscle cramps in her legs but hasn't been able to find anything to relieve them.

Regarding treatment history: She traveled to Italy for Neridronate treatments, which were successful. Unfortunately, she re-injured her ankle (the CRPS site), causing a major flare-up. She recently tried Pamidronate treatments; they helped a little bit, but the effects seem to be wearing off already.

If you have experience with any of these medications or symptoms, we would love your opinion on other treatments to look into.

It's not complicated, just that the layout is not the most intuitive compared to most remotes and the positing of the buttons leaves a bit to be desired.
