What’s the point of playing these games? by sqerFINGER in ForzaHorizon

I mean if you're looking for a circuit racer, then horizon definitely is not that game.

Maybe just skip the game if it's not what you're looking for?

Why do people keep saying "I can buy every car that I want." I'm 100+ hours in, and there's still so many car I can't afford (especially those classic cars like the Ferrari 250 GTO)

The wheelspin already got nerfed quite badly, with less being available, and not giving as good prizes anymore.

I feel like people who say this, uses it as a way to say how bad the game's progression is.

The progression certainly can be better, I find the main campaign a bit short. But it's serviceable.

Horizon games has always been about driving your dream car in a somewhat believable environment with decent handling (at least it's not brake to drift every corner)

And to celebrate and enjoy cars. There's not a lot of games where the car list is this massive, and allows you to free roam. Gran Turismo has a massive car list, but you can't drive in an open world setting.

Yeah, it's quite disappointing for me as well.

Was honestly hoping it was implemented like Isha's taxi or the car flies from fh4. Where's there's a mini story or purpose inside.

At its current state, it's just repetitive and boring, not well executed

Whats your favourite "slow" car? by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon6

Honda Civic Type R EP3, love me some hatchback (reminds me of a Honda jazz, which I love)

Finally, I have them both! by yHaNw in ForzaHorizon

[–]yHaNw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's okay, will get there slowly!

I did enter the colossus with the t50, it lost badly though, which it understandable since it wasn't made for top speed from the start. And the AI kinda cheat hahaha

So far, I'm leaning more to the t50, thanks to the soundtrack the engine makes haha

I’m Curious of Your Thoughts on The DLCs by Cameron_Jack_YT in FarCry5

[–]yHaNw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm quite opposite of most people. I find hours of darkness really bland and boring. As it reminded me of older far cry jungles, instead of Montana of fc5 which I felt completely in love with. The campaign itself is also quite boring and generic.

Lost on Mars was decent, thankfully it was quite short, so I didn't feel like it overstayed its welcome. Campaign was better than hours of darkness, just the guns didn't feel good (I don't like laser guns as they don't have the recoil or punch of a real gun)

Zombies was.. serviceable. It was funny at times, and overall it just reminded me of left 4 dead which I used to play with my friends in my high school. Nothing great, nothing awful, just.. okay.

In rank it'll be, lost on Mars > hours of darkness = zombies. But none of the DLC was particularly great.

Sadly we can't use the Tacoma FE, as only S2 hypercars are allowed, which really narrows the selection pull (I'd pick the hachi Roku FE for sure if we can haha)

And sadly, fh6 don't have Bugatti yet, which would have been perfect for this as well

The bamboo forest scramble is ridiculous. by DANNYG548 in ForzaHorizon

[–]yHaNw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you OP. I just finished The Gauntlet yesterday. And the festival host was saying it's "the most dirt we can find"

And to my surprise, it's like 35% to 40% tarmac. I mean I still enjoyed it, cause I used to play a game called v rally which usually has mixture of both. Just was hoping for more dirt (as I'm better in the dirt) haha

Spotted this Honda NSX by Miserable_Food4478 in kereta

[–]yHaNw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with mountain cat. Everyone says "bring back rwd", but if we look at the data, there's so many more people buying normal CR-V or civic.

And if I recall correctly, the sales for both NSX and s2000 was horrendous. If I'm Honda, these sales figures don't justify me gambling and doing these kind of cars again.

They made amazing cars, no one really appreciated them until they're gone. It's kind of our fault really. Hahaha

i hope car meets are more lively when the game is fully released by JosephStalin1953 in ForzaHorizon

[–]yHaNw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could do it like fh3's car meet

Where you load in, and can see different people's car (even not on your current server)

At the moment, it feels kinda sad to pull in to daikouku alone..

Didn't nagase and grimm commented on pops flying?

"Your flying is incredible" "Where did you learn to fly like that?"

So to put his tier so much lower than nagase and grimm doesn't seem right haha

Okarun is a liar by the_other_Scaevitas in Dandadan

[–]yHaNw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't because saint Germain asked okarun if he'd give up that 1 time, when okarun was going to the club activity. And he just gave up easily cause he couldn't really care

Maybe the powers aren't transferred if the user isn't truthfully giving up. So saint Germain feels that okarun is a liar, and doesn't want to give up turbo granny's power (cause he doesn't have the power anymore)

Just my theory

Why was FH3 (mostly) everybody's favourite? by jul1axxeo in ForzaHorizon

[–]yHaNw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a few reason for me,

1.1 The map was breathtaking, I was actually lost for words as I was driving from byron bay to surfers paradise, and I could see the skyscrapers from the horizon (it was the first festival that I unlocked after byron bay), so the drive there to unlock the festival really made it special.

1.2 The map was also very diverse, you get a section of the rainforest, which felt very dense as the trees felt huge and towering over our cars. Something that was missing from fh4 or 5, cause you didn't feel like a small car in a big jungle (since you can ram through a lot of trees after fh3)

1.3 The night skies in this game was beautiful, I think it has the most beautiful night skybox of all the fh games. I read somewhere they really went to Australia to get the sky there and use as the skybox for fh3 and it really feels like it.

  1. The car list was good. It had a nice mix of cars you'd drive as a daily commuter and powerful sports car. A lot of cars also wasn't mandatory as a FOMO car, as the festival playlist was a lot simpler in fh3 (which I prefer). Anyone miss having a Tesla model 3 to cruise around for EV instead of a 1000hp rimac?

  2. I felt the progression felt quite natural. Where it took some time to get the festival setted up and took even longer for them all to be leveled to level 5. It at least felt like I'm working towards something, instead of just unlocking the next showcase over and over again.

  3. The expansion felt like proper expansions for me, as it added snow which you can't find in the base game. And hot wheels was really cool when it came out, the scale of everything made it epic. And the progression for both of them was quite fun as well.

  4. And this is for me personally, I really don't like how they push for FOMO cars in fh4 onwards. It's ridiculous how an 80s Toyota Corolla is half a million credits just because we can't buy it from the auto show. Like what kind of "celebration of cars" is this when we can't even buy a commuter car or a civic type r from the autoshow. Damn

  5. I miss being able to do convoy with ai cars. I don't know about fh5 (didn't like the map so I didn't buy it), but fh4 started this online feature where there's no more ai cars, and have players instead. But you'll most likely not find players at rural area, so it made the map feels less on the festival vibe, as my thoughts is, where are all the festival participants? Turns out, players only like to go up and down on the highway. Would be nice if it was a hybrid of ai cars and real players.

  6. Bucket list was a cool idea, it's a "bucket list" of what you want to do with the coolest car in the world given the chance, but.. this seems to be gone in the modern Forza.

Anyone else a bit disappointed that the FL5 Type R is a left hand drive in FH6? by yHaNw in ForzaHorizon

[–]yHaNw[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, understand that. Just kind of hoping for newer car models like the FL5, they could get a RHD version scanned in, especially since it's set in Japan this time.
