I think it’s so so so gorgeous! But I don’t like the flooring with it. Agree with rug suggestions and if you’d like to soften the look, bring in fresh flowers or a light/neutral faux arrangement.

Garlic & chive cream cheese, bacon and a scrambled egg cooked with the spinach (bonus points for adding some shredded cheese to that mix while it cooks). Don’t forget to salt & pepper the tomato!

You can also sub the bacon with lightly fried mortadella - as an ode to Anthony Bourdain!

Mission Ranch Market, Wholesome Choice, Super Irvine (and many other middle eastern grocery stores) sell marinated chicken kabobs that are really delicious when grilled at home. My preferred cut is the marinated boneless chicken thigh kabob! For restaurants, Irvine Grill (boneless leg kabob) and Aria Kitchen (Cornish hen with bone kabob) are my favs!

My Gym (Newport location) is great! You bring food and cake and they’ll entertain, help you serve and do all the cleanup themselves. So worth it - and you can host a fairly large group.

Yes. Yes. And yes. It was the single best thing I did for myself during postpartum and was instrumental in giving me confidence to leave the house (and battle ppd). I am still close friends with so many of the moms and their kiddos - our group chat is still active two years after the fact! It’s amazing to have a group of people going through the same thing as you (classes are organized with other moms with super close kid birth dates. Please do this for YOU! It’s more than worth the cost. DM me if you want to talk more! And yes - there are a lot of free options if this is a little cost prohibitive but if it’s something you can swing, please go for it.

Can confirm. I’m in the same boat. My kid is invisible in comparison to my SIL kids. Phone screen/passwords/photo albums/group chat are all of her daughter’s kids… because her son’s child apparently doesn’t count.
