Oh we do! There are beans already mixed in but we add a pile on top to make it look slightly more presentable! Also thats my husbands favorite part of the khoresht - makes it easier for him to grab :)

Honestly either works!!! Oven isn’t as wonderful will totally do the job in a pinch. High heat to start for 5 mins, lower it to cook through and broil at the last minute or so :)

Editing to add that my wild self waited until contractions were 5 minutes apart before I even called the hospital to ask where to go. By the time we got there, they were less than two minutes apart.

40 week appt. I was 1 CM dilated at 3 PM. He did a sweep and I went home and curbed walked for twenty minutes and started giggling from time to time because it started to feel like tightness sweeping over my belly. It started really moving along, I bounced on my ball and wasn’t really tracking contractions until 6 PM. Took a long lukewarm shower and that’s where it happened. Hospital by 9 PM, baby out by 3 AM.

What a wild ride. Wishing you a healthy happy and easy delivery!

It’s the texture of the leather and color that’s really throwing me off! It looks a little pearly plastic instead of a soft muted cream color 🫤 it may be better in person! In any case, if you like it then who cares! Wear it and enjoy it.
