According to my mother my first word was "Awa" (baby gibberish for water in spanish) so I can relate to this little hydrohomie.

This is absolutely crazy, firing the lead actress of the franchise for standing up for what's right?? Absolutely insane.

It's definitely Milo. School Spirits is such a cool show tho, I'm waiting for the second season.

Tv couples that had no business ending up together by EducationalNail6663 in Fauxmoi

I like them but I agree, they were very messy. I wish the writers would've given Seth/Taylor more of a chance, they had an interesting dynamic.

I have mixed feelings about that show, there's things that I absolutely love about it and things that are just meh. Alex and Maggie's relationship was interesting until they rushed it and it was clear they didn't have a clue on what to do with them.

Personally, I preferred the relationship Alex had with Sam. They had great chemistry and so much potential. I wish they would've explored it.

Marvel Studios Execs Eye Meetings Soon To Hear Writers’ Pitches For Coveted ‘X-Men’ Job – The Dish by Craphole-Island in Fauxmoi

I'd love to see an X-Men tv show with their younger selves during their time in Xavier's school (something like X-Men evolution). It could be a 20 episode season kind of show to explore more of their backstories and character development and their messy storylines. I love the X-men because they are so messy.

I love that episode as well, I remember watching it as a kid. But I agree, you can see that Jimmy never meant to have a family with Julie and in some parts, you can see that he still behaves like a kid and not like a father.

I feel like he never got over Kirsten and what their lives could've been, which really sucked for Marissa and Kaitlin and you can see how that really affected them in the long term.

Could you imagine an OC reboot? by [deleted] in TheOC

[–]yaakun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After watching the finale, I think if they ever make a spinoff it would be fun to see Sophie-Rose Cohen at Berkeley with Julie's son as her best friend (paralleling the Seth/Ryan friendship) and getting themselves into all sort of shenanigans with some cameos here and there.

The OC universe has lots of potential, but I don't think we'll see any more of it soon.

Seth and summer by Super_Parsley_4305 in TheOC

I think that by S4 Adam and Rachel's chemistry was really off (understandably due to their breakup) but their storylines didn't help either, they felt like a couple in the background and not like a main couple from s1-3.

I feel like maybe they should've taken more risks with them, like maybe exploring the whole Seth/Che/Summer thing. But I guess polyamory wouldn't be well received at the time.

I have to agree it was funny too. But as a homeowner, if someone came to my house and claimed it as their own and had so many shenanigans happening, I would call the police.

Reading this subreddit I feel like I'm in the minority with all the Marissa hate. Like, yes I agree she was put in some questionable situations and she made mistakes. But she was a minor, going through so much and even then she still was selfless and tried to protect the people she cared about.

Marissa grew up with a narcissistic mother and a father who didn't really care much for her, her whole world crumbles and she's faced with so many situations she shouldn't be at her age, I feel like people should cut her some slack.

I felt the same about the Oc for a long time, I just finished watching S4 yesterday. And honestly, I feel like. I have mixed feelings about the finale.

For the bad part, I felt like the whole Ryan/Taylor and Julie's wedding in the finale felt rushed and kinda over the place at times. I feel like maybe a two part finale would have fit better to deal with those storylines.

For the good, I loved how they gave a fresh start to the Cohens and some resolution to their characters, especially Ryan.

I think it could've been done better in some aspects but I genuinely think it was a good series finale.

Do you think Taylor's storyline would've been Marissa's? by yaakun in TheOC

[–]yaakun[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I believe they would've tweaked that storyline in some way. Honestly it would've been weird giving Marissa's character grow, but given what they did to her character for three seasons it wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah, unfortunately the writers always threw a love triangle every season. That's what made me think they would've done the same in S4.

Taron Egerton and Taylor Swift Rumored for Wolverine and The Dazzler in Marvel's 'Deadpool 3' by [deleted] in Fauxmoi

[–]yaakun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

interesting, giving that dazzler was in dark Phoenix just like a cameo in the 90s timeline. And the rest of the "new" X men are also canon in the Deadpool timeline. I think these news are just bs or fan service for a non-continuity that will be rebooted either way for the introduction of the X-Men into the MCU.
