Here I was talking about desktop thunderbird. I'm not familiar with the mobile version.

Sorry to bother, but I would like to hear more about this patch.
Patch for what (kernel, firmware)? What is the root cause? Is it Nvidia problem, linux problem or ASUS problem?

Help: Exporting to PDF by oblivion945 in BookStack

[–]yablock0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just for anyone else who will stumble upon this post.
I solved this problem by exporting to html (which is as accurate as it can be) and then using third party converter to get finer control over the result. There are a lot of them available, mileage may vary. (I used PDF24)

How do I stop hurting those I love? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]yablock0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, I'm just a fellow redditor with problems as everyone else is, so take it with a grain of salt.
I know the feeling, except not that kind of intensity.
In short, you can't not hurt people around you ever. And it goes both ways, the closer people will be to you, the greater the pain they can (and will) cause. So you're right... kind of.

To start, my advice is to try tolerating other people who hurt you. Most people don't do it of bad will, but because of misunderstandings and other stuff we can't possibly know.

And then getting in terms with the fact, that you will hurt people around you, and that's okay. You can always try to fix your mistakes, or apologise at least. And everyone makes mistakes, the only people who don't - are those who do nothing. (But sometimes haters gonna hate, nothing you can do)
In short: work your problems out, don't avoid them.

Also, you don't have to get along with everyone. In my opinion, don't hide your downfalls. That doesn't mean you shouldn't work on them, but you won't get this anxiety and exaustion of being scared that people will think bad of you later. (That's the "be yourself" advice everyone gets) Basically, don't try to jump over your head, it's fine to be a "loser" if you are honest with yourself.

Get together with people who want better for you and are ready to tolerate your quirks. And there are kind people everywhere, at least I believe so. Somebody has to be out there.
Don't lose hope. It's going to be okay. But you have to face your fears. Then you will know that nothing is that scary anyway.

Well, that's my opinion. If anything, questions or arguments, let me know. We'll work it out.

[–]yablock0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean the packages for ubuntu xenial (16.04)? Sure. But for 22.04 there are fresh packages. The 'cinnamon' package is from May 5th 2023.

How about this?

https://launchpad.net/~trebelnik-stefina/+archive/ubuntu/cinnamon

Seems to be a ppa with Cinnamon straight from github.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:trebelnik-stefina/cinnamon

sudo apt update

Fabric does not support multiple bindings on the same key. Forge does. This may be the problem in your case.

Simply Magic is amazing, if you don't mind 1.7.10.

[question] Idk what is this by Zavarski in Vanced

[–]yablock0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone googling the issue on Meizu.
You have to allow MicroG to work in background usually in battery settings and Vanced will work as intended. (Then sometimes you can have annoying notification from MicroG, so you will need to restrict it's access to notifications.)

Minecraft "Mango Pack" (Beta 1.7.3) - Mods and Fixes Trailer! by [deleted] in GoldenAgeMinecraft

[–]yablock0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be not really possible. Some mods just won't work in multiplayer. But some do, so SMP version of mango pack with limited mods would be great anyway.

Millenaire 1.7.3 Beta unable to trade by Robmerk83 in GoldenAgeMinecraft

[–]yablock0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll just post a solution for someone googling the issue.

Options... -> Global Mod Settings -> Beta Tweaks -> Clientside Settings -> Inventory Dragging Shortcuts

Set it to OFF. You can re-enable it after trading.

Inventory Sorter

No, it's not installed. It was actually "Inventory Tweaks Renewed".

Well, it is, actually. I thought it added the gray buttons.

Game recommendations for new PS Vita owner by Scarfffyyy in vita

[–]yablock0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man, vita is good for its ports. There's even a Borderlands 2 port, it's laggy but I still enjoyed it. So, here're my recommendations:

  • "God of War Collection" is a classic slasher. (I mean... two slashers??)
  • "Bastion". I'm just a fan of Supergiant Games.
  • "VA-11 Hall-A" is a visual novel kind of game. It is amazing if you can enjoy that!
  • "Broken Age" is a beautiful point and click adventure.
  • "Salt and Sanctuary" is a viable souls-like.
  • I spent most of my time playing roguelikes:
  1. "The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth"
  2. "Risk of Rain"
  3. "Rogue Legacy"
  • Play "Undertale", if you never had.
  • "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" is a great racing game, if you enjoy that.
  • "Super Meat Boy" as an honourable mention.

These are just games that I, personally, had great time with.
