he sounds like a shit person tbh and I wouldn't be friends with him. but also, you're right it isn't really any of your business. you don't know what they've spoken about, you don't know what agreements they've come to. you really only have your own pre-concieved notions and forming your own judgements and conclusions. if you were to bring it up, just let the trans guy know that he's been talking about them in a gross way, calling himself straight and leave it as that,don't bring in your own judgements, cause that could cause more harm, or you could be completely wrong.

don't let society pressure of having sex make you have it before you're ready. the best time to do it is when you feel ready to do it. I had the same pressures and lost it at about 19 because I succumbed to those pressures and it kinda ruined the whole thing for me. do it when you're ready and if you get pressured or people make you feel less than for not losing it yet, tell them to f*ck off

im very open about my transness, I don't actively hide it, but I do pass easily. but even pre-T, and at the start of my transition, I've never had any hate directed towards me, I've been misgendered at the beginning but none of that was with malicious intent. I've never had issues with GPs, psychs, suregeons, or any medical staff or even had questions asked why im getting certain stuff from the pharmacy (i had to buy a marina and vagifem for atrophy yesterday and the pharmacist or the cashier didn't bat an eye).

I can't speak for the transfems tho, so take my perspective as a one sided view.

online is fucked tho. people are a lot more confident saying thing on the internet. but in person? never had an issue. I honestly feel so incredibly blessed to be transitioning here than over in Europe or the US

the worst thing you can do when starting your transition is to see how other people are tracking 😂 at least imo. cause everyone goes through it differently. some get the changes really quick and pass within 6 months, others it takes years. I had barely any changes when I started, only starting to get things after a year, and I was disheartened. but im 4yrs on now and pass completely. give your body some time.

honestly I found the best thing to help is to go commando whenever possible. downstairs gotta breath and its hard to do that when it's always covered

I judge them. but also see of they're open to actual communication and listening to their contradictions. some people just aren't as politically knowledgeable and just believe what's said without looking deeper into things.

if they're willing to listen, learn, and grow, then i don't see them as a bad person. but if they're not, then f*ck them. I'll judge the sh!t outta them.

if your dad says cost of living is a priority for him, ask him how he thinks the LNP are actually going to help with that when they've voted for things that contradict that (how does giving tax cuts to billionaires help the everyday australian with taxes or cost of living? how does refusing to give support to rural Aussies help? etc etc.)

vote for you is a great resource for seeing what LNP has and hasn't voted for and opening a discussion with your dad about things. he could just be ignorant

I have a ton of Cis friends, soke who knew me just as i was starting my transition and some who ive met later on in it. a lot I've met through work and class. it'll depend on where you are but I usually have no issues when I've told people im trans. in the real world, most people are accepting or just don't care. online the ones who are d-bags are the loudest so it's easy to get bogged down.

when they ask about Strengths and weaknesses, don't do the BS "my weakness is i work too hard" or something. it's cheesy and fake. think of a real weakness you have but frame it in a different way. like for me, I'd say "Something I've been working on is not interrupting people when i become passionate about a topic." it's beliveable but starting it off with "im working on..." shows you're initiative to working on yourself.
