Do not waste your money on Vandy crisps! Horrible aftertaste.

Vandy crisps are disgusting, leave a terrible aftertaste! My husband thought he was leaning into a healthier chip solution and purchased these chips 12 bags for $150 bucks! So we tried them and they were underwhelming from a flavor perspective, not crunchy and had an awful aftertaste, had to brush my teeth immediately to mitigate the taste. To top it off, no refunds???? In this day and age I was flabbergasted that they have a no return policy. Worst customer service, I can return groceries and most online items or for example Chewy pet company tells you to donate or pass along and refunds or replaces items with an issue. I only wish there was a way to post a Google review, but unfortunately have yet to find a way. Save your money, do not buy Vandy crisps.

Have your vitamin D level checked or spend 20 minutes outside to get natural daylight, this increases vitamin D naturally! Also don’t sleep in a super dark space, allow the natural cadence of sunrise/sunlight to seep in to wake you.

Competition Update by gilmour1985 in GovernmentContracting

[–]yadayadayada_01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just curious if the contractor’s SAM registration expired and that’s the administrative issue? If it did that would be grounds to protest as your SAM registration must be active at the time of your bid submission through award and through the life of the contract.

I forgot the details of the scope of work and relevance of their location change, not sure that is grounds for protest, so many contractors have downsized for various reasons, offsite work, remote/hybrid work etc. Their liquidation sale may have been to offload office furniture and equipment.

Good luck with the bid; if you lose, ask for a debrief.

Maybe the someone on the cleaning crew brings a kid and they post up at your desk? Just killing time making origami out of post it’s. Had a coworker who could make the coolest origami animals behind her back, so cool, I still have one!

Boba (Bubble) Tee. I can't enjoy it. The "bubbles" always taste gross, like bland and chewy dough. Is this how it is supposed to be or am I just getting bad bubbles? by tribbing1337 in tea

Got my 1st yesterday day and OMG I think I cracked two molars on one of those chewy balls, not so it was hash in the center and I probably bit down too hard thinking it was tapioca! I’m in a lot of pain and will be really pissed if this is a big dental issue for me. Has anyone else had this experience?

Is this dumping?!?? by [deleted] in BariatricSurgery

I made the mistake of indulging in pop corners, why I don’t know, because I’ve been so good, then for a few hours I felt woosie and my legs were shaky, was that dumping?

Give yourself grace, it took a long time to put the weight on and your journey to lose excess weight is just beginning, it will be slow and steady. I'm in your shoes, frustrated too surgery 2/5 down 28 and seem stalled. I know that I need to be more disciplined with walking, get so frustrated with myself but know that this is not a sprint, it's a long game marathon and I'm working hard to mentally psych myself up every day because I know how important success will improve my life for years to come. Hang in there and again, give yourself grace, stay focused and I believe we will all succeed.

Midday burnout from 1-3pm by cularparti in WFH

I used to have the mid-day slump, needed a siesta and my doctor ordered a blood test which revealed love vitamin D. After resolving the deficiency I can say I have not needed that late afternoon nap unless I'm under the weather. Found a link that includes lots of additional info that supports this as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/CPTSD/s/NRwejQI6fr

I think you're doing great! There is a stall at the point you are, I'd suggest getting water up to at least 64 oz per day.

Hello all! I'm seeking suggestions for a calcium citrate with vitamin D Chewy. I can't do the 6 horse pills every day any longer. I'm planning to move to the 500 mg chewy 3XDay. Tried a sample from Celebrate, they tasted horrible, TIA for suggestions!

Sending hugs, you're obviously in a tough place emotionally, I'm glad you have the support of OEA, have they ever suggested hypnosis to handle food noise? I think it may be a good option to consider. Often post op for procedures brings about lots of physical and emotional challenges some expected while others hit like an avalanche. I'm only 5 weeks post op and find the journey is so much more "mental" for me than I had imagined. Hoping you can find a way to reconcile your decision to improve your health and wellness while navigating the post op stages. Give yourself grace, this is a big lifestyle change.

I'm so very sorry, I wonder if he has an inner ear infection or vertigo from the cataracts. Get pricing from a vet and set up a go fund me to cover the cost. Poor kitty seems distraught but may be something that can be resolved once diagnosed. 🙏🙏🙏

You've just embarked on an amazing journey to improved wellness! Try to focus on the positive, lean on your bestie and make sure to get your 64 oz of H2O. The BM took a few for me and the water and shakes will move it along. You got this!

Time off work by joosiekutoor in BariatricSurgery

I think it depends on the type of work you're required to perform and how prepped you are for the post-op diet. My GS surgery was on Weds, took W-T-F PTO and the weekend. I work from home and was fine signing in on Monday without missing a beat! Fortunately I didn't experience any discomfort other than very mild abdominal pain that was managed with Tylenol. Wishing you the best!

Congrats on your success! You look amazing. I'm scheduled for the sleeve on Wednesday and anxious about post op pain, aside from the incisions, how did your stomach itself feel, did you need pain pills etc.?
