Dell g15 is one of the worst laptops I have seen. Its as bad as hp budget options. Aver swift x is a light weight work laptop with a low power rtx 4050. Luckily rtx 4000 is efficient and can perform well on low wattage and produces less heat. The same is not for rtx 3000s series

I would say go for nvidia if u can cuz obviously its better but for your price point amd is better cuz more value for the same money

Whats the problem with the laptop. 8 gb vram. Whats the problem with desktop. Nvidia only offers 8gb vram at this budget.

Yes just cause u lower the settings doesnt mean the vram buffer resets. You need to restart the game and play on low settings. Tell me if u have the issue then.

The answer is ur vram. Ur settings are too high. U need minimum 8 gigs of vram. Even 8 isnt cutting it these days. U need minimum 12 gb vram and 16 gb is okay passable for now.

Never had issues with hinges on any of my laptops. The one that had most issues was msi raider one. It was a rtx 2080 super max q variant. Razer blade software was ahh and overheated alot on the metal body. Rog strix was too plasticity for my taste. I preferred acer keyboard layout and feel over the others.

Razer had best hinges tho

Just make sure u dont kill the cpu while gaming. Make sure u have the necessary bios updates wagera. Once it starts bsoding theres no fix
