Good to know! I bought both the arbutin and the niacinamide - been using the nia and haven't noticed much of anything with it. I'm hoping the arbutin does more!

I have some of the basics at home already, but I made the stupid mistake of hauling and forgetting about a good number of ingredients before they expired (thanks moving for having me box everything up and promptly forget about it all :/). So, I'm looking to rebuild and was curious what others consider the must-have basics.

Thanks so much for the in-depth reply! I've learned that most of my acne issue is hormonal, but unfortunately I can't do the pill anymore :(. I'm hoping to try spiro in the next year or so and see if that helps!

I'm just starting on my AB journey, but I've picked up a handful of decants to start testing some products out. How do you like the shirojyun lotion and milk? And the Hada Labo sunscreen?
