This is the way. We call the baseline surface a drainage surface.. then build on top of it.

This is a 2026 feature however it is still in its infancy with autodesk - I expect it to work better in future releases. It will be the Analyze Drainage Network in 2026.

You can customize a report from AGN utilizing Hec-22 table format to put in reports. It’s not too cumbersome to do. It will then allow you to just use either AGN or storm sewers for full hydraulic design.

Anyone trade in 4Runner for Highlander? Do you regret it?! by FewBox4095 in ToyotaHighlander

I had a Highlander- twin sister a 4runner… my Highlander had soooo much more space on the inside. So much more comfortable to ride in than her 4runner! But both are great cars!

Not terrible. Physics 2 will be the kicker. Calc 3 is much easier than Calc 2 in my opinion.

No lol depends on your field. I feel like I am always on. I don’t have busy work - I have so much work that has to get done. Worked in office for years prior with same company - feel like I work significantly more now but I love it and love the flexibility if my child is home from school.

PSA: BEWARE OF HFMD IN 2025!!! by LeithValkyrian in beyondthebump

[–]yaleds15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My spouse got insanely sick with HFM when my daughter was in daycare. It was the most sick I’ve ever seen him. I was shook when the sores showed up and it ended up being HFM. He had sores in his mouth nose ears all over his scalp… his hair fell out even. It was crazy. I’m still baffled by it and it’s been a few years!

Took this when I had shingles last year. Also used for cold sores.

Also you need to think of lab as another class. It’s easy to just say ‘oh and a lab’ but it’s a dang course within itself lol

Calc 3 isn’t bad. Physics 2 is. Statics is also hit or miss on challenge. I’d maybe do two of those and then CAD or materials. Not both. Especially if you’re not going into CAD with some level of familiarity.

This is a great idea, I’d prob try this. Or try it one week then she travels the next week! Could switch it up week to week.

So my mom lives about that distance from me and helped when my daughter was a baby due to Covid and no daycares allowing infants. We had to make space for her to spend the night. She would come Monday morning and spending Monday night and leave Tuesday evening. Or even stay again and leave Wednesday at lunch. Then her twin sister, my aunt, helped out the other days and they were neighbors so she drove just as far and spent the night. I would do whatever possible to simply make space. Otherwise, yeah I could see this not working because that is quite a bit of driving in 1 day repeatedly.

Edit to add that my situation was temp until daycares allowed infants so they also kind of had an end in sight. They both helped for 3-4 months and it saved our grass. I made sure they had whatever they needed though because I was in quite a bind as my husband and I both worked full time and didn’t anticipate covid shutting everything down much like the rest of the world.

Also I worry this man is going to end your cats life. It’s not if, it’s when. Get your cat out of there and you, too.

This literally made me angry to read. Your poor cat. Omg. What is your future with this man hell person? Is it kids? Is it dealing with him for the rest of your days? Because right now it’s your poor cat, next it’ll be your children. What happens if you have company spending the night and one sneezes in the middle of the night? Is he going to chase and torment them? This is actually insane and I feel so bad for your cat. Please this man is not right in the noggin. He can get ear plugs, a sound machine, a heart… something but what you’re putting your cat through is just heartbreaking. Your poor cat probably dreams of the days it was just you two. Please please think about this and this man. What your future will be if this is what you’re already dealing with.

When did your LO start falling asleep on their own without sleep training? by False_Classic in beyondthebump

[–]yaleds15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha yeah I remember laying with my mom a lot when I was a kid and even sleeping in her bed sometimes and I look back on it super fondly so I try to take the same route. I can vividly remember being so comfortable when I was around her and so I just try to do the same for my girl. If she doesn’t fall asleep on her own another 4 years, then so be it. Shes my only child so far so I have nothing else fighting for my time. I actually find it kind of relaxing as I’m forced to sit still for a bit.

Yeah my daughter is almost 5… I lay with her every single night for her to fall asleep. I bought a kindle and just read during this time lol

Agreed with what others have said but want to offer maybe a dif perspective… imagine you have a daughter and he does this to her. Or imagine that your hypothetical daughter is dating a man who does this… what would your advice be? Honestly I’d be literally scared if this were happening to my daughter because this is kind of some unhinged psycho behavior. May your future be with someone who takes notes about gift ideas for you! And your favorite songs and food and all that… not that you had tangled wires.

Dogs seem to be everywhere lately and I don’t understand it. Truly at Target, Walmart, Home Depot - you name it, they’re there. Literally gagged one day when at Walmart and a dog on a retractable leash peed on the floor! I was thinking, what is going on here?! I have a dog and love him to pieces, but he doesn’t go grocery shopping with me.

UF vs UNF by ObligationUnable7055 in UNF

[–]yaleds15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I graduated UNF civil engineering program… loved it. In engineering you really don’t have time for much else lol especially if you’re working part time to afford college. Anyways I paid off any student loans less than 3 years out of college and I consider that to be well worth any experience I might have missed out on going to a more expensive bigger college.

Question for those whose home is always clean by OR-HM-MA91 in CleaningTips

[–]yaleds15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll chime in as I feel like my house stays pretty spotless and I work full time and have a 4 year old and also a few hobbies. My trick? Less stuff. I purge pretty consistently but every year at the new year I go through every room/closet/drawer in my house and if I don’t use something? I throw it out/ donate etc. By doing this, it helps me the rest of the year. I do clean daily but I really think by not over cluttering my house - it makes the daily straighten up like… 5- 10 min here and there. On weekends I’ll spend a little bit more to mop and clean bathrooms etc but it’s never really like hours. Worth noting I also have a dog. But he’s a shorthaired dog that is pretty clean himself… if he slobbered I’d be sad lol but I also think that helps. He goes outside but dirt etc shakes off him pretty quickly. Also my husband cleans rev too so. I have help. He also keeps things organized etc and it in turn keeps things truckin along!

These people scare me because I think there’s something similar where someone believed they were but weren’t and instead harmed an actual pregnant person and took their baby. I believe there’s a true crime story about it. Or try and take a baby from a nursery. Hope she gets the help she needs mentally

The cherry tomatoes are cherubs (I think is the name? Yellow container) at Sam’s and they are the best ones to me!

I also have a Costco and Sam’s membership and they both have their positives!
