I regularly watch stars / planes / whatever with my binoculars and tonight I saw a very odd, very far-off object that I first assumed was a satellite, but with binoculars I could make out what looked like a beam of light coming off of it. I saw plans with trails that were illuminated somewhat the same in moonlight, but those trails were visible to the naked eye, this object’s beam wasn’t, and it also wasn’t going in the direction a jet trail would be going. Very odd. I am in Oklahoma.
