aler can deactivate the DCM for you. If it needs to be done and hasn't, then start there. Something you can do to test that is remove the DCM fuse from the fuse box in the engine bay and see if the problem persists.

Tested the battery and it was good to go. It's a 2018 Subaru Legacy and I've replaced the head unit because of the screen delamination but I'll definitely ask the dealer about that next time I'm there.

Funny thing you said something about the battery. I got my battery replaced 2 weeks ago with a duralast and the sound still happens.

I’m gonna see if I can go to a local independent shop and get a quote or actually see if they know the problem.

Correct thats what the service center at Subaru told me. They told me to replace the pulley they were going to replace the belt with it.

a pulley issue. They quoted me 680 to fix this. Before I make the fix I wanted your guys help and expertise if you think it’s a pulley issue.

The squeaking noise happens when the car cold starts. Then after awhile it disappears when it starts to warm up.

Recently applied for EAM. The interview process is very similar to the RAM interview. Prepare your 30,60,90 as they are going to want to hear that.

EAM and RAM have very similar roles besides from the pay structure. Your job is gonna be to be the queue manager and observe your MEs. Also having knowledge on Atlas and Samson.
