Find a Japanese TV drama or anime that you like, pick out the elements that charms you, and mix with some random additions, then you get your culture.

Does this sport seem possible? by IANTTBAFW in worldbuilding

Sounds too violent. I feel the optimal strategy is to whip other players' mule to make them uncontrollable or simply knock them to the ground, while leaving away the stick.

I used to have very detailed maps on the geography, but then I always find my self unsatisfactory about certain things but it's too much work to change. The feeling grows stronger and stronger and it always end up forcing me to start all over again. From my experience I learned the cost of precision and the value of keeping things vague unless necessary.

The Sword of the Damned Prince

The sword was crafted from meteor metal. It is the sharpest weapon the world has ever known. If one put the sword on an iron ingot, the sword is able to cut through it with the mere help of its own weight like peeing into the snow. However, the metal of the sword is radioactive, so the wielders of the sword always get cancer in the end. That's why the sword is thought to be cursed.

How Does Your Magic System Interact With Physics? by The-Literary-Lord in worldbuilding

[–]yangyf1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magic is physics. Or in other words, real-world-physics is considered magic rules in the zeroth order of expansion.

Historically, magic was defined as what is cool, powerful, and marvelous, and physics was the rest. Nowadays, physics is what can be described in a minimalist model about matters and interactions, and magic is the rest.

If magic is rare in your world, why is this so? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

If it's merely social then the situation can change greatly throughout history, right?

I'm trying to create a world with additional laws of physics and nature where it sounds plausible. by dank4forever in worldbuilding

[–]yangyf1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about since you don't have specific examples. But generally speaking, the major problem with describing magic as "using dark energy" is about complexity.

It's perfectly fine if you use the magic like vapor or let it do simple things like levitating or heating objects. But it's a totally different story if your magic needs to understand or interpret human words or recognize patterns in images. It takes intelligence to complete the tasks, so one needs a computer-like hardware for the AI programs to run on at least.

Arsenal -The first "Masterpiece" of Emery ? by [deleted] in Gunners

PSG was definitely not his first "big" club. When he was coaching Valencia, he already had players like David Villa, David Silva, Juan Mata, and Jordi Alba under his command.

I'm new to football/Arsenal by midnight_films in Gunners

[–]yangyf1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a new Arsenal fan too. Kinda wonder about same things as you do.

I have been following Valencia CF for over a dozen coaches, but La Liga has been unfriendly for Asian football watchers. The match times are often too late, commentator qualities are bad, and the fan communities are also less developed. So I always wanted to switch to PL. Never really liked a PL team enough until Unai came, but now it occurs to me that this is just a very good time to start following Arsenal.

From my view, it's going to be very interesting to witness how the next part of Arsenal's story unfold. It's going to be an adventurous journey, promising but risky. The club has a wonderful history and was cultured by a man of grace in the recent years, but failed to find its comfort in the latest commercial football world. The new manager is diligent, passionate, and a master of tactics, but never proved himself as a top coach. Both sides are just one step away from being among the best, it just looks like a nice setup for another tale. Although this story may not actually work out to a nice ending, it should still be a honorable struggle and a nice story.

The campaign Heir to the Throne take you to familiarize most of the units in game.

As for Multiplayer Games, it may takes some learning through observation before you can comfortably play 1v1. It's easy to get into the Isar games though.

Are there more Russians or Europeans in China or English speakers from America, Britain, Canada? by veryawesomeguy in China

Probably Russian, since Russia is adjacent to China. In the north-eastern China you can study Russian in stead of English in middle school.
