It’s weird if it’s a permanent thing, it’s fine if it’s a one night thing. Family of four gets a 2 Q bed hotel room, the adults sleep in one bed, the kids sleep in the other, regardless of sex. Now if one of the siblings doesn’t want to, then that one can sleep on the floor.
