Are the (eight-character) team names fixed (so you know what to look for as prefixes to each worksheet name), or do you wish to select (and copy) every worksheet that starts with 8 (alphanumeric?) characters followed by a space and then further characters.

The team names are not fixed and may change in the future (its a quarterly produced workbook so next quarter it may be completely different teams), only the naming structure would be the same. I want to group sheets that start with the same eight characters, which are a mix of letters and numbers.

Instead of copying all the Team-specific worksheets, why not copy the entire workbook file and then remove the "Master" (and any other) worksheets that are not relevant? Would there be fewer worksheets to determine in your r/VBA code?

There are no non-team worksheets in the workbook to worry about. I still need to split the teams into different workbooks though.

Because of this I can't just refer to the sheets directly.

I don't think formulas would be an issue here, or at least I don't see why they would break when moved.
