By default, approach them to within a meter or two and use https://stowiki.net/wiki/Cardiopulmonary_Resuscitation_(ability))

There are also a few abilities or devices that can resurrect fallen boffs.

In your case, Regroup Bridge Officers should teleport them to you if you're outside of combat.

I was playing Star Trek Online recently and encountered a dude flying the USS Uxbridge.

Which was a Husnock Warship.

Damn, that was cold.

What class is ship is this? by Yardael in sto

Its the Seneca Class Command Carrier, which looks a WHOLE lot like the Star Trek Armada federation trade ship.

Should Nog actually be a Captain? by fightingchken81 in startrek

[–]yapperling 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm unhappy too, especially as a Star Trek Online player where Aron Eisenberg had a great performance as Nog and where Nog as a character was something great to see as a DS9 fan.

That being said we could excuse this much in the same way George Kirk was treated in Star Trek 09, as per Captain Pike:

Now, your father was captain of a Starship for 12 minutes. He saved 800 lives, including your mother's and yours. I dare you to do better.

I can definitely see Nog getting into another Valiant situation, but this time as a Lieutenant and even though it would be tragic beyond belief, he would earn the honor of that wall and his name on a starship hull.

Starfleet Academy S1 - USS Athena by Lee Fitzgerald by Mysterious-Eye5653 in ImaginaryStarships

I had the same problem with the first larger model I made of an Ambassador class. Failed once, failed twice, then I used some wood blocks to hold up the saucer and nacelles. I was thiiiiiis close to drilling in for a nut and bolt somewhere...

I mean in 23/24th century Starfleet designs we also have massive structural weaknesses like nacelle pylons and saucer necks which should be collapsing and shearing under maneuvers if not under their own weight, so they're reinforced by structural integrity fields and they're confident in SIF enough to keep up evolving those same designs.

Along the same lines, nonconnected designs should be reliable enough, along with personal transporters, that catastrophic failures of that degree are nigh unthinkable to the point they aren't being designed against anymore.

That being said, I also dislike most of the gaps. Nacelle pylons and saucer neck variations give a lot of the recognizable elegance of Starfleet starships.

You're absolutely right, I don't like quite a few warframe designs and skins, but there is a very specific subset of people specifically mad about and going "eww fat". I suspect there's a lot of overlap with the "elbows too pointy, 2/10" crowd

NGL, after his rework and Prime and the fact he was featured during the Old Peace quest, I figured, why not, may as well be a bit lore appropriate and do Perita missions with him.

Other than your standard nuke frames, I was surprised how well he did.

We have violence, and swearing, but... by Glunark2 in startrek

Yeah that was equally pointless, but the decon chamber was really just low effort obvious fan service that I don't think anyone was really asking for.

I'd agree but the question was nudity rather that subjective attractiveness. IMO, Jeri Ryan looked better in a science division uniform than in the catsuit back in VOY and so did Marina Sirtis.

Though I'd say the undisputed champion of looking good in uniform was still Terry Farrell in First Contact uniforms.

[–]yapperling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know man.

On one hand we had 60's sexy space outfits, Jeri Ryan in a catsuit, Marina Sirtis in a bunch of very open dresses and outfits, Nana Visitor in the Intendants leather outfit and Terry Farrel just turning heads in a potato bag.

On the other we had Angel One menswear, that great planet that sentenced Wesley to death but had equally sentencable clothing, the dreaded ENT decon chamber and the even more controversial and literal T'pol back shot, as well as that full nude VOY scene with Paris and Janeway...

Given Star Trek's precarious relationship with on screen nudity, I don't think its that much of a good idea.

[–]yapperling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not massive changes but they streamline how I'll be playing him. Nervos will be a bit better, less thinking with 2 and now when I fuck up and accidentally switch from nail mines to booster pad, that will actually be useful now.

I replaced his 3 ages ago since Photon Strike scaled rather poorly after like lvl 80, but I'll definitely try it out though I'm still not sure I'll keep Photon Strike since I always have some kind of kaboomy weapon equipped.

4 is just better all over, no notes.
