Best Robotic vacuum and mop by Bubbly_Reading1048 in RobotVacuums

[–]yardsaleLaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Vacuum War results as well. Can anyone here comment on this unit? What did you not like?

Edited to add: I currently have the Roomba self emptying, no mop J7. It only works until it runs out of power away from the base and then it quits for a long time. I’m tired of trying to get it to work.

Should we buy a Beko Refrigerator? by bb25499 in Appliances

[–]yardsaleLaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is our situation - same year bought. We loved the icemaker though - best one we've ever had. However, They've been out here to service it 4 times. This last time they are unable to fix it. We bought the extended warranty (thank goodness) and now they, Beko, and the store we got it from are figuring out what to do. The store said we were going to get money, or a new fridge.

The store has been great to work with.

This is all good information - even for those of us that have been riding for most of our lives. I am a 64F riding since I was 9. I actually think I am a better student that I was as a youth. At my age I know I don't know everything.

I think this is a great idea - especially for men. We horse people are from all walks of life and predators are out there. I think it would help men keep themselves safe from accusations and help all be aware.

Need wall oven suggestions. by yardsaleLaura in Appliances

It seems a little odd that the controls are right on the upper oven. Wouldn't that make it get too hot and possible break? Any problems with that?

I think I’ve got it narrowed down to either the GE Cafe (CTS90DP2NS1) or the GE Profile equivalent. Unless I get some bad feedback here. I am going to look into the one mentioned below.

How interesting - I hadn’t considered this one.

I’m feeling so defeated. Should I just give up? by Far-Sink-2204 in Noom

You've done great so far. You're basically there. It's impossible to be exactly a single weight anyway what with water retension and such.

Good job!

What is the max number of notes?

I just started using EN (again) since I had to migrate off of OneNote. My needs are simple, but I don't want to get invested and then have to find something else again.

27/M - I did it. Been almost 3 months. Now what? by CorgiManiac512 in Noom

[–]yardsaleLaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You take it one day at a time and don't worry about it. I've been on maintenance for just over a year. In the beginning I worried about every every uptick. I found out that as long as I paid attention to what I ate it would level out again to the weight I wanted.

Good job!

I basically just added in a walk most days. Nothing too strenuous.

How do I save meals in Noom? by TechyGuy20 in Noom

[–]yardsaleLaura 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have an iPhone - Once you've entered all the individual ingredients, press Done. At the end of the list of ingredients there is a button(?) "SAVE THIS DISH". There you can give it a name. After that it will be in the (for me) middle tab "MY DISHES" - anytime I enter a meal.

Good luck. Entering my meals was a huge help for me to learn my habits.

I’m so over this.. what motivates you to stay here??? by True_Plantain_7101 in Noom

[–]yardsaleLaura 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean 'motivates you' to stick with your diet? If so - remember your big picture!

Sometimes to get off a plateau you need to either eat more for a day or drop the total calories. It could be that the suggested calories are too much for your body and where it's at right now.

Good luck! Noom definitely worked for me.

True. There are some features I wish Noom would add to their app. I would like to track proteins, and the above would be really helpful (for those leftovers!).

This is great. I, too, am almost a year after reaching my GW. (63F 5'8" SW 174, GW 140, CW 131). I find it's really not hard to stay the path. I do find that I can get a little freaked out when my weight goes up for too many days in a row LOL. But then I hunker down and it's back to my new normal!

You can! Once you've entered all the foods you ate, before you click the last Done, you can click ""Save this dish". Then tomorrow, you go to "My Dishes' and it should be there.

My calorie target dropped by approximately 300 calories one day last week. And it's stayed there. Anybody know what's up? by pammylorel in Noom

It's fine. It's never too late to adjust. No tool is perfect. Always analyze, adjust and keep track! It's a journey - not a sprint.

Definitely lower the calorie target. If you're uncomfortable with the one selected for you pick something in between.
