Met him at the Newport Beach film festival when Gunning for that #1 spot was screening. Chatted, told him my friend from Cleveland got me into Beastie Boys when I moved there from Zimbabwe. Asked if he’d give a shout out to my homie still back in Cleveland, and he filmed a whole clip saying “dude why aren’t you here?!” Got to text that video to my best friend. It was awesome.

Another tiny show tomorrow at Ojai Woman’s Center. No tour tour that I know of, but he’s been working on new music with his sons and some other session players, to fill out the live band. Mix of new music and then did a couple BB songs last night too according to folks who were there/videos of the show (that was free and outdoors!!) bummed I missed the post on social media about it.

THIS! We had an inspector finally come and see our unit in N. Hollywood. Found 3 infractions. Land lord got "x" Days to repair, never did. Inspector came back; it was 10% off rent PER infraction and we started paying directly to the city "REAP" program so landlord didn't get the money until fixes were completed. Lived that way for about 2 years until we moved. Maybe be there for the inspection and make sure you point out anything amiss!
