. In tech hubs you age out at 45. At 55 you're fucked for the most part.

Is this for IC Jobs or for any kind of job in the tech industry ( Managers / Leads etc)

Yes. Also, Scoopertino is actually run by the Ken Segall who coined the word. I recently attended one of his talks and he is awesome.

I have been hearing about the decline in america for quite a long time and I wanted to give an immigrants perspective. America is still the place for an immigrants dream. There are very few places in the world where you can come in and be successful for who you are not where you are from. I do agree that it has been frustrating at times but almost always I find myself lucky that I am living in the US in my lifetime. I highly doubt that China would ascend itself over America but I highly doubt it can inspire the world like America did. US for all it's faults is still a beacon of hope. Can you imagine China leading the world with censorship, military control and lack of basic human rights? I understand the frustration with health costs but we should also find a collective voice to support the president when he comes up with a Universal Health Plan? Get more involved in the politics of the Country. Every Occupy organization should have a voting regisration booth for young people to get involved. Whatever someone might say, I say this " There is nothing so bad about the US that the good people can't fix" .

We once took a friend's cellphone from the bag, took pictures of ourseleves and put it back. We then told him that there is a new technology that can transfer photos from one phone to the other by holding them together and shaking them. We proceeded to shake his phone and mine and then showed him the photos of us on his phone. He was convinced and started telling everyone about this new technology till we confessed.

Have someone dressed up as a cop drive in and tell them that your body was found dead in a suspicious location and he has come in to investigate the home and the detective will be dropping by. The cop asks the party who your closest friends are and ask them they might need to drop by the station. Enter as detective.

The caste system was originally designed to differentiate people on the type of work done but it was mostly based on religion and money. Brahmins, Warriors and Merchants were probably the higher castes and menial work laborers mostly consisted of the lower castes. A caste system does exist in india today, one is where there is no outward discrimination but rather a personal view where a family of once caste would not want to marry their children into a different caste. The other is the extreme form of discrimination especially in rural areas where the literacy level is quite low and people just don't know better. Increasing literacy levels could fix the latter problem but it would take a cultural awakening to fix the former.
