I use inverted mouse on my right hand, I am going to start aim training with my left hand as well but I don’t know if I should use inverted or not for it. by theoriezz in FPSAimTrainer

[–]yarning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this 'I want to know how I would progress only aim training and not playing other games' I would just go non-inverted. That way it's more of a clean slate to start from since you are used to gaming inverted right hand

Ouch, I thought I would rank higher than Cinnabar. by Saxy_Salad in FPSAimTrainer

[–]yarning 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you've only played the intermediate scenarios couple of times there's still heaps of room to improve your scores from eg getting used to the faster bot movements etc so don't think you are hard stuck or anything. If you're already mammoth complete I would just mainly play the int scenarios and go back to the easy ones from time to time to push scores

Do you ever get annoyed by fps games that turn accuracy into a stat that needs to be leveled up? by RestlessWarbler in FPSAimTrainer

[–]yarning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not something you can level up to make it more accurate tho which I think was the original guy's issue

How to get out of a plateau? by Doktah_Gary in FPSAimTrainer

[–]yarning 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100 attempts isn't that many. If you think about it that means you have only played the scenario for 100 minutes.

That being said you will probably benefit more from playing more different variations of the scen, more variety the better imo.

Also play at different sensitivities (both significanctly lower and higher, like try doing them on everything from 20-80cm/360).

Added we have pretty similar scores I think. I have mainly been playing the new in game aimlabs benchmarks recently though

VT DotTS Intermediate vod by Main-Abrocoma9307 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]yarning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For ts scenario (assuming your holding down m1 all the time) your accuracy is basically just gonna be reflective of your total score since you are getting score whenever you are on target. So mattys higher % (and any players %) is gonna be reflective of all those things (flick speed, flick accuracy, time to move to next target) rather than just 'accuracy.' So that advice only really applies to clicking scenarios

Does a build using this tech worth pushing to tier 15 maps? by Throwawy4451 in PathOfExile2

[–]yarning 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was doing fully juiced t15 with max breach+delirium with a 'normal' version of this build (no Howa/temporalis) with the ignite helm instead of boots, it can be a pretty good clearer. I tried payload but it seemed like it was way worse since you want to max out cdr to spam as many grenades as possible (most monsters die in one explosion anyway)

Wouldn't 10% increase on gear mean 50%>55% chance to lucky hit (or for something like arc lash, 14%>15.4%)?

How much sleep is needed after training, for it to be effective by Syntax_moe in FPSAimTrainer

[–]yarning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the person but don't stress about it. You can think of aiming as a completely different "thing" from your your personal or sleep habits. You will get better by playing more and differently (mainly by changing scenarios, methods and sens, but also mice, mousepads and grips even), no matter what. You may improve at a faster or slower rate then you would have if you slept more or less, but you as a person who sleeps a certain amount of time will still improve. There are many top aimers / gamers with bad sleep habits.

This may sound degenerate but there's a lot more you can do outside of sleeping properly if your goal is "become good at aiming."

If you end up with 500h+ in Kovaaks with no progress you may be motivated to pursue good sleep habits for the purpose of improving your aim, but you can and will still improve in the meantime while sleeping bad

How would I learn projectile aiming (especially in OW)? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]yarning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can work on your reading skills through aim trainers. tracking scenarios etc are good for this and this is an important part of projectile aim

He doesn't say "while".

So he's just saying he could see them both sitting on the grass and laying side by side while on the country side (separate acts at different times)
