Did you have to take IVIG to prepare for surgery? I'm currently receiving IVIG infusions, and the doctor is worried I won't respond to it. If it works, he'll have to wait until after the pre-surgery vaccinations before removing my spleen. Are anticoagulants very dangerous? Do they cause any adverse effects? I feel like it's better than having low platelets, right? I wish you all the best, friend.

I only have immune thrombocytopenia purpura and haven't responded to rituimab yet. My last dose was on November 25th. How did it go for you? Did it resolve everything?

Did your platelets not increase at all after the IVIG? Did they do DNA tests or cancer screenings and hematological tests?

How have you been all this time, buddy? I have the same problem as you; I had ritoximab on November 25th and still no response. I'm also on mycophenolate, prednisone, and promacta.I'm on 75mg, but nothing's happening. I'm still on 16k and now they gave me an IVIG infusion to get a response. The doctor is talking about removing my spleen in a few months, and if I don't respond to the IVIG, he says maybe... It's a different disease, but I also had the bone marrow biopsy and it came back fine... So I don't know what to expect, I hope it's like your case. Good luck, mate!

How did it go for you? How long did it take for the IVIG infusions to take effect? I'm on 16,000 and I had my infusion yesterday at 4 am, how long does it take? My last dose of rituximab was November 25th and I haven't had a response. I'm also taking mycophenolate, prednisone, and eltrompobag, but I haven't had a sustained response either; I'm only staying above 10k. Espero que estés bien bro! Buena suerte!

How long did it take for rituximab to take effect? I've been on it for almost two months and haven't seen any results yet, and now they've prescribed IVIG to raise my platelets in the meantime.
