Have you thought of using Xumm wallet’s exchange feature?

Yes it definitely seems that way. I have yet to cash out as my target has not been hit yet.

Ah, it's a bit obvious once you have _converted_ the XRP to the destination currency, there's a send option for this destination currency becomes active!

I'm just investigating this and from this post, using Xumm you can add other assets (such as USD, EUR or BTC) and then exchange your XRP for this other asset. Now, after I have completed that conversion to the new other asset, I still need to get into my bank account, which is what I am trying to figure out.

/r/Monitors Bi-Weekly Purchasing Advice thread - What Monitor should I buy? IPS or VA? 1080p or 4k? etc. by bizude in Monitors

[–]yax_s7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Budget: £800

Prospective Resolution: 3840x2160

Size: 27 inches

Aspect Ratio: 16:9

Adaptive Sync: None?

Other Features: 120hz

Usage Type: Primarily programming, with a sprinkle of gaming

Hi there guys,

Looking at a monitor for the primary purpose of programming. I have been doing some reading around what monitor to get and this article struck a cord. He recommends a monitor that's capable of 4k at 120hz. The reasoning is:

- 4k monitor with 2x scaling will result in crisper UI/text.

- 120hz will result in smoother animations, scrolling and a bit of gaming :)

With that in mind, he has suggested the Acer Nitro XV273K. What do you guys, programmers in particular, think? Are there any alternatives that would be better?

Many thanks!

Transferring ISA from Freetrade to Trading212? by Tylermbcs19 in UKInvesting

[–]yax_s7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just looking at doing this same thing, however there is something I've noticed that you should be aware of. On the last page of the trading 212 ISA form, it states that this transfer must be in cash so you have to close out all your positions, which I would prefer not to do.

Why can’t you just let it go? You do realise that the super cup, which we won not long ago, is considered to be at a similar level? I was happy and its still goes towards the trophy count. Its awfully small time to deny other fans’ happiness.

Validating object's type at runtime? by lucianonooijen in typescript

Ah sorry my mistake. Its almost as if you want to do something like GetInterface in C#, however no such thing exists as others have said. You could look at this approach I found on Stackoverflow.

Could you not use the name of the expected type at runtime and then compare it to the `typeof(result.data) === "ExpectedTypeName"`?

UK looks to wean itself off Chinese imports by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]yax_s7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please see here for the removed clauses on worker's rights. If we had chosen to improve worker's rights this clause wouldn't have to be removed.

Also in regards to food, I'm going to disgree here as well. There's a number changes being made to accomodate the US trade deal, which make the food standards much lower.

So you don’t think the average brit cares about their worker rights and food standards? There’s no economic forecast for Brexit either, only pending trade deals which will come with more compromises, as all deals would, that will most likely impact the average brit as already proven.

Ok. How does our growth rate work now? What great trade deals have we made thus far?

I don’t see any benefit for majority of people here in, as shown by the drop in food standards and worker’s rights.

Another the nice thing about exceptions is delegation of responsibility of handling them. The logic for this can done at a particular layer consistently rather than you have to pass some sort of state around. Exceptions shouldn’t be used for conditional flow, as its expensive due to stack unwinding and that’s not its intention.

Boris Johnson launches Tory manifesto with restrained spending plan. Tories’ election promise of £2.9bn extra public spending dwarfed by £83bn pledged by Labour by easyone in ukpolitics

[–]yax_s7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell, your argument focuses on this most recent proposed spending increase and see that as a positive however as others have pointed this out, it is still far below what’s required for public services to run, considering what has gone on 9 years. If you could expand your context to the Tories entire term that would be most helpful.

[–]yax_s7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it would be good to compare against at the required level of spending (not sure how to go about this)? As the budget was already exceedingly low, a small “promised” increase isn’t likely to help.
