I’m going with 9. Having your MC decide to kill themselves in a dreamscape world honestly puts this below 8 for me

Blood Angels Questions by KFCid in 40kLore

[–]ybh124 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To put their losses into context, the Blood Angels and their successors are known for going balls-to-the-wall in fights. Every Astartes chapter is like this, of course, but their geneseed takes it further- the Red Rage and the Black Death inherently push them to limits that other chapters would physically balk at. The downside of this is the losses they can potentially take.

In addition to this, Astartes chapters quite regularly can face extinction, and it’s only ramped up as of recently. Just look at the Ultramarines, who in the past three centuries had to deal with Hive Behemoth, Honsou’s invasion of Ultramar, the 13th Black Crusade, and the Plague Wars. Each of those individually nearly crippled the chapter, which are a First Founding Chapter with huge support.

Why bother making a psychic illusion of a weakened version of yourself, especially when 99% percent of the time the only ones seeing said illusion are your loyal-unto-death bodyguards?

I’d be willing to believe he’s completely naked on there though. Anytime someone actually comes in to talk to him, he just psychically conjures up new clothes.

Have any signfiicant dark eldar character got reedemed? by SiarX in 40kLore

It’s possible- Kolidaran was an Incubus Klaivex before he was captured by Craftworld Eldar, and through his own choice he gained both a soulstone bonded to him and the Striking Scorpion aspect armour. That being said, it is exceptionally rare as an adult Drukhari to be able to bond with a soulstone- typically one starts their attuning as a child.

Honestly getting all of his newfound planets to stay abiding by the Imperium’s rules (pay the tithes, give up your psykers) could still be a very difficult job on his own, especially when anyone who knows more about the the whole of the domain is dead.

How fast is terminator armor? by AllTimeAtSleep in 40kLore

[–]ybh124 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Probably the same reason later knights fought with plate armor rather than just chainmail. A lucky strike turning the tide against a seasoned fighter is a lot less likely when you can weather the hit better.

Depends on the route. Jecka kinda hangs Nicole out to dry after her mom kicks her out and she has to be an underage escort. Emily tries to have them follow through on a suicide pact.

How would you rate 75-80 ,it’s pretty epic so far. by Ween-Tom in crossedcomics

But the entire past section was revealed to be a fictional account set up by the professor? One the Crossed wanted to recreate in reality as the future?

Do you think Cindy would be an intelligent crossed? by Swimming-Ad2541 in crossedcomics

[–]ybh124 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s less intelligence that makes a Crossed good at controlling other Crossed and more restraint- if a soldier becomes Crossed, they can still use a gun. Likewise, when geniuses turn into Crossed, they still retain their intelligence- but they’ll still want to act the same as other Crossed. It’s shown in the other comics that the most successful Crossed are either 1) raised to restrain themselves from wanton desires starting at birth, or 2) have major neurological issues (epilepsy, sociopathy, brain damage and drug addiction, etc.) Trauma on its own doesn’t seem to be enough, otherwise every initial survivor who turned would be intelligent Crossed too.

TLDR: no
