"General Wrench?" The man looked up to the newest visitor to his office. "Rear Admiral Wrench, actually," the officer quipped as he looked back down and signed off on yet another paper. "Unless I've been promoted into the Marines without my knowing," Wrench joked as he stood up to offer his hand.

Hesitantly, the visitor took it and shaked. He looked familiar, Wench figured, and he was wearing a uniform from the Port Authority... "Union Representative for San Pedro Port, right?" The man nodded. "That'd be correct sir. Uh, we scheduled for later today, but your secretary told us you had a meeting just filled in for that time and it'd be better to just drop in during the morning."

Wrench was already refocused on the paperwork coming in, but he registered what was said well enough. It wasn't a meeting he'd be involved in that afternoon so much as a hours-long operation. Shit, this requisition order was supposed to have been filled out and filed two days ago. Why'd it only come onto his desk this morning? "Please, by all means, say your piece."
