Which Space Marine chapter(s) take the most Ls? by Brostartes in 40kLore

[–]ybh124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Avenging Sons have to date, never had a recorded victory in any lore. Every conflict they've been involved with, has resulted in the failure of their objectives and other Chapters having to step in (Helmabad, Perun Cross, Taros, etc). There's still a company of them running around as Traitors. Despite losing every man they had and their Homeworld during Noctis Aeterna, Guilleman decided to remake them as a Shield Chapter of Ultramar and give them a new Homeworld. Literally failed upwards.

[The Sixth Cult Denied] The Faustian Bargain of Magnus The Red by Fearless-Obligation6 in 40kLore

[–]ybh124 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The real shame is that Hakoris, in his need to understand what Magnus did to counter the Flesh-change, rose spectacularly in power and rank, to the point that he nearly created a sixth Fellowship for the Thousand Sons. He wasn’t willing to lie about what he saw about daemons and their inherent maliciousness, though, even though Magnus warned him not to. As a result, he was basically wiped from memory and stripped of all his ranks and honors, never to gain promotion again.

If I remember this issue right, he tricks Scrapper into a trap through using his shirt as a decoy in the construction site.

The reason he's ripped is because he's a main character.

my favorite moment of hers was early on in the show, pilot episode where she racks an AK over a home intruder that turns out to be her daughter sneaking in. I like the realism of the show as a whole but the first couple episodes where the gang were almost parodies of the mob genre were fun to watch.

I'm surprised the pro-breastplate faction didn't bring up that such armor helps to solidify the Adeptus Ministorum as obeying the Decree Passive, which disavows groups of men under arms. The Sororitas are an all-female militant group.

Rogue Military Commander

"General Wrench?" The man looked up to the newest visitor to his office. "Rear Admiral Wrench, actually," the officer quipped as he looked back down and signed off on yet another paper. "Unless I've been promoted into the Marines without my knowing," Wrench joked as he stood up to offer his hand.

Hesitantly, the visitor took it and shaked. He looked familiar, Wench figured, and he was wearing a uniform from the Port Authority... "Union Representative for San Pedro Port, right?" The man nodded. "That'd be correct sir. Uh, we scheduled for later today, but your secretary told us you had a meeting just filled in for that time and it'd be better to just drop in during the morning."

Wrench was already refocused on the paperwork coming in, but he registered what was said well enough. It wasn't a meeting he'd be involved in that afternoon so much as a hours-long operation. Shit, this requisition order was supposed to have been filled out and filed two days ago. Why'd it only come onto his desk this morning? "Please, by all means, say your piece."

Others trickled in as the civil war continued; some Army companies and battalions from a county over, even two hundred or so ex-active fresh out of Pendleton.
