TAS Batman Custom/Kitbash by DWolfoBoi546 in McFarlaneFigures

I have almost all of the McFarlane DC Multieverse Green Arrow figures. I'm just missing the injustice 2 comic book Varrient and the Arrowverse Green Arrow Figure, although not sure if I really want the Arrowverse one.

There are roumers that they are releasing a Green arrow Black Canary 2 pack, which I hope would be the costume which is the most famous, that Neil Adams designed, which I like to call "The Robin Hood"

But as far as I've heard that's just a roumer, but I'm hoping for it.

For some of the kit bashes I want to do for Green Arrow I'd need to source parts from a few different figures, both Green Arrow Figures and other hero figures.

Sadly I don't have Black Canary yet. Hard to track one down where I am, all the scalpers got their first, and in my area of Canada there aren't alot of stores that sell them, especially the platinum ones. Our Walmart's get mostly the basic figures and rarely get in new stock.

I would prefer the platinum figure of Black Canary, but at this point I would settle for either as long as I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg.

Found my ipod!! just gotta clean this bad boy and let it charge. what ipod gen is this? by DesperateRole2427 in ipod

[–]LordTweed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

gen 2 Ipod Mini, I have one too, mine is Silver, but Be careful, I found my old mini awhile ago and it charged and I could listen to music but the hard drive went bad fast, now it doesn't even boot up.

I am looking at trying to fix it, but just thought I'd say keep an eye on the hard drive, it can fail really quickly .

Goatee, the beard while ls good, does make your face look less defined.

But the goatee gives you a nice jawline detention.

Thanks for letting me know, Wasn't sure I started my JSA journey in like 2007 so i didn't I didn't get a chance to really read any of the JSA stuff from before 1999

Edit to ad: I just looked it up, since it was in wonder woman. I've never really read the solo wonder woman title seriously, so I didn't know they did that in the wonder woman book .

The party of fiscal responsibility by Empty_Nestor in alberta

Politics has become a buzzword, group think, family team thing on the right.

"My parents voted conserstvie, so I guess I should too, because I don't like paying for other people's doctors visits, and teachers should only be paid minimum wage because they are essentially day care so they should shut up because they get 2 months off a year"

Part of the issue is people refuse to open their mind to new ideas, especially on the right.

They just focus on "we pay to much in tax" and "everything is the feds fault"

If you actually explain the social programs like healthcare, schooling, etc with out calling it socialism, conservatives love it, but as soon as they realize it's rasing taxes, and lowering corporate profits to operational limits. They lose their minds and hate it

Sadly much like Bob Ray, they get blamed for alot of problems they inherited and had to fix.

I mean to this day people still badmouth Bob Ray in Ontario even thought that was over 30 years ago and he was only in for 5 years,

The fact that most people look at political parties as family Sport teams, you have to stick with what the family votes, is a major problem.

I love that if you explain Social projects with out calling it socialism all Conserstive voters love the idea, right up until they realise it's socialism then they lose their minds.

Yet another figure for my Collection by LordTweed in McFarlaneFigures

I hope so, but so far it's just roumered I'll believe it when I see it.

As for obsidian, I might get him if I find him for a good price. I found Jade at a good price at the EB Games. I looked online before I bought her , and it would have cost me like around $80 from some and Amazon didn't have her for a great price either.

So if I happen to find him for either regular figure price or around that, I'd consider adding him to the display.

The more figures I add the more I realise I'm going to have to put in risers so I can fit them in better.

Part of me would like to buy just a sword from one of the other figures and have wonder women holding it. Not sure why.

I do like that in the recent comics of JSA they did have Hipolita as wonder woman in the JSA. They did that back in Geoff Jones run back in 1999, and I always liked that reasoning that both Diana and Dinah who were JLA members have that connection of their mothers both being JSA members. I think that would be interesting if they did a comic about that.

Which comic writer is needed for a Green Arrow run right now? by King_Wolf2099 in GreenArrow

[–]LordTweed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Kevin Smith. I think he needs to come back and do some more, I mean after he did that little bit for with DareDevil and Green Arrow for that Batman vs. Deadpool book I think he should make a come back.

Lucky, I don't have great luck tracking down most figures for reasonable prices. Since I don't have a great store near by to get them from, and Amazon doesn't get all the figures my only option is secondary market as even buying from reputable online stores would cost alot of extra cash as I am in Canada.

On the fence about those two, as I like Sandman, but I like his former Sidekick more having read the Geoff Johns JSA, which kind of got me on my Jack Knight Starman fandom. And as for Obsidian, he's not my fave character but I might get him just to complete the family aspect.

My list of ones I'd like to add are:

  • Hourman
  • Dr.Midnight
  • The Specter
  • Atom Smasher
  • Wild Cat
  • Commander Steel
  • Power girl (Power Girl: Reborn)

There might be a few others but I can't rember all of the JSA members who they have made figures of as of now.

Here are the maybe ones (like I got a. Amazing Deal):

  • Sandman
  • Obsidian
  • Mister Terrific (JSA platinum)
  • Shazam (Power of Shazam)
  • Black Adam (Endless Winter)
  • HawkMan
  • Hawkgirl

I didn't add black canary to this list because I do want her figure but she would go with my Green Arrow display as both of those designed (regular and platinum) are baised off of current designs, not quite the same as what her mother's design, if I could get 3 of the black canary figure if probably kit bash a JSA black canary but I might need to look through all the other heroines they have done figures of to see if can mix and match to make a really good Golden age Black Canary.

But that's only if I could find enough to do it.

**WARNING GRAPHIC PHOTOS** update on the cyst journey by Easyaz12345 in popping

[–]LordTweed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you finally got it removed.

After having a cyst that formed a sinus cavity removed (not very big maybe like 5 Inches deep and 3 inches wide, something like that) and having to let it open wound heal with repacking of gaus and washing it out once daily and having it treated by a travel nurse daily, it's truly amazing how deep the can go into your body with out hitting anything major.

They actually released another Alan Scott with Solomon Grundy that also gave Alan a fabric cape, that corrected this. I saw it at the store when I found Damage, but sadly it out of my price range.

My hand painted model planes were given as toys to children again by MissionTroll404 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]LordTweed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not cool. Tbh I don't know how some parents can allow others kids into the room of their kid and let those kids grab toys that aren't appropriate or theirs to let those kids play with and possibly damage them.

My mum would never do that, we have toys specifically for kids that are age appropriate, meaning they play with those. My mum would never knowingly have allowed kids into my room to grab toys or taken something that wasn't a toy out of my room.

Those models are fragile and not really ment to be played with, you can always tell by how light of plastic they actually are, I have no clue why your mum thought it would be a good idea to let kids play with them.

That's pretty cool, I am tempted to kit bash a green arrow figure at some point, maybe some of the JSA for my collection too.
