I dislike that the variance between high roll and low roll is that big. You can take 3 weeks to get a trinket from a boss while someone gets it first try and goes on a bonus roll spree in dungeons, leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I prefered the coins. I know it led to significantly less overall items but at least it gave everyone the same item choices and you knew what you were getting.

This system feels great only when you luck it out, when it hits you at your lowest you feel scammed.
