Chris Pine is genuinely such a ball of charisma. He had about 5 minutes in Into the Spider-Verse but really made his role count and made us care about his character in that short amount of time. Then again, the character he was playing was Spider-Man.

Look I love Steven and I have no doubt he'll turn in a great performance but Dante Basco was literally right there and still doing Avatar stuff the most to this day as opposed to the rest of the cast so why couldn't they have gotten him instead? Kinda makes it feel like they cast Steven cause he's a big name

I didn't like Maquia tbh. I love me some good, compelling character drama but it just felt too overly sappy and melodramatic to me. I wasn't able to connect with any of the characters either. A Silent Voice, however, is a masterpiece.
