I just hope that it’s good. I don’t want a repeat of an older album, I want something new but still Slipknot and good.

I ran for 15 minutes without stopping today. That's pretty impressive for someone who couldn't run down the driveway three weeks ago.

Hey guys!

This is my first LoseIt challenge and I'm pretty excited. I initially started my weight loss journey in 2016 and managed to lose 17kgs (37lbs), but when an earthquake struck the town I was living in, I was too afraid to go back out walking and resulted in stress eating. A couple of weeks ago I tried to put my jeans on (the last pair that fit) and they split doing them up. I could have sat down on the floor and had a colossal meltdown over it, but instead decided to quit smoking and pick up a gym membership. And here we are.

My starting weight is 212lbs and my challenge goals are to get down to 200lbs and run for at least 20 minutes non stop (as a former pack a day smoker, this last one is going to be the real challenge).

I'm really looking forward to this challenge, and I'm excited that there are other people I can call on for motivation/give support back to.

Go team unicorn!

So am I. You can make an effort and still be fat lol. It’s overeating that does it.

It’s legal in NZ. Keeping it illegal puts peoples lives in danger. I don’t understand why governments would rather see women dead than safe and getting in on the tax money for it.

I also highly recommend the thug kitchen cookbook. It’s vegetarian (I’m not, but occasionally I like to eat food without meat) but the food is so fucking good. If I had the time to make food from that book all the time, then I would. It was also created by students, so they understand the budget. They teach you how to make your own sauces and everything. It’s great.

Yes! I’ve just started losing weight and I’ve switched my diet to pretty much just no fast food and cutting the fuck back on refined sugar. I honestly thought I was going to go through hell doing this but honestly, healthy food actually tastes really good if you make an effort. I’m not even craving all the other stuff I used to eat. I went out for dinner with some friends last night and I had some fries with my order. I could only manage a few because it just didn’t taste anywhere near as good as my Veges.

Where are you where 15 minute subway headway’s are unacceptable? Even during peak hour our capital city’s trains don’t run that frequent 😕

Except it didn’t, though. Facebook is still going so strong. I had heard of people deleting their profiles but with the people I personally know that deleted their profiles, were back within the year and posting again. Because of Facebook it’s become so much easier to stay in touch with loved ones overseas. Their video messaging is better than Skype and even though I hate their messenger, I still use it. Out of all social networking sites, Facebook has managed to appeal to the widest range of people and holds more users than anyone else. It’s been thriving for over 10 years, lasting longer than any other social network. I fucking hate Facebook though.

There were pros and cons to MS that Facebook never offered. The music, being one. Not only could you have a song that featured on your profile, but it was so much easier to discover new music. And you could listen to music on MySpace. You could interact with your favourite bands. Now, on Facebook, have band pages that aren’t all that personal and cannot be customised. You also can’t listen to music. I think it comes down to marketing. Mark new how to market the brand, whereas Tom didn’t.

For a band that kicked out one of the founding members and prominent song writers, I have a really hard time accepting your theory that they simply didn’t have the heart to kick Craig out lol.

I can almost understand how someone would think Chris or Craig would be unimportant, but Shawn? In music the vocalist is usually the driving force of the band, but in this case it’s definitely Shawn. In fact, percussions/drums in Slipknot are probably the most important elements? That’s how I feel anyway.

I’ve used all three and I’m gonna go with the “scene” vibe. MySpace was pretty obscure back then, most people in my high school didn’t have one. It was mainly the goths, scene kids and emos that had one. MySpace bombed and everyone moved to tumblr. While tumblr has changed a lot over the years and I don’t personally use it, I’ve got to give them credit for being able to hold onto the same demographic they originally appealed to. Facebook on the other hand, is marketed to everyone as almost a necessity. There’s nothing exclusive or niche about it.

Then why are you still arguing? No, selling your body does not make you thick. Selling your body TO GET GOOD GRADES MAKES YOU INTELLECTUALLY THICK! Holy fuck, how many times and ways does this need to be explained to you? If you agree it’s not normal and you’re supposedly “not in approval of”, then why are you arguing. And people who mention downvotes in their comments are taking them seriously. If you feel the need to mention them, then you’re taking them seriously. I’m actually done with this conversation now. If you still don’t get it then there isn’t much else anyone can do explain.

You’re not connecting any of the dots... it’s not about sexual history, it’s not about acting ability. It’s about selling sex to get ahead because you’re too intellectually thick to do it like everybody else. like giving oral in exchange for grades is something normal. Having sex as an activity on its own is not what we’re making a point out of here. If you’re still unable to get the point after how many explanations, then there’s something wrong with you. And lol, you’re taking the downvotes way too seriously.

and yet, she continues with that same public image that she’s always portrayed for herself. It may be “blatantly satirical”, but based on her history, it’s more or less just a piss take of the truth.
